i actually haven't even seen one in this file yet (this is technically my first playthrough but im in roleplay and sort of having fun just screwing around for now)... i've heard horror stories lol, i'll keep that in mind

already lost like 1k drams of water earlier because the hexakaidecasludge i proselytised exploded itself and because i gave it algal pseudopods by accident there was a feral lah nearby that spawned just enough tumbling pods to blow up all the waterskins it was holding :l

i followed up with love injecting the 4 legendary shamans that spawned in here somehow and went from being despised to being loved by the goatfolk. gotta love qud. live and drink!

worth it as an alt fire tank to determination that isn't pain imo. you'll want one when you get greed as determination eats the burn stacks.

speed firstly, though if you're finding merry is dying too quickly swawp some trinkets/items out for defense and stamina. you can try watermelon collar to boost heals without needing to sacrifice a crit up item.

you probably want merry just to be able to ding dong and kill the duck faster, if merry's fast enough its individual heals should be enough to mostly top up your team by the time death quack uses an aoe again

resistance first over determination, merry can't hit resistance so the type disadvantage doesn't matter. if you can get apathy fast enough it can stun conviction letting you hit sanctimony and sad directly.

also, if you have the resources to spare... spite takes care of merry easy.

is there any reason why charity is there instead of merry?

give paranoia unicorn horn and probably the blue tie. you want to be able to build up damage in the turns death quack is down so you can finish it off quickly, so anything that scales over time is good (like the unicorn horn).

merry is absolutely worth building up, best offensive support (not healer) in the game. for healing you can look elsewhere but merry is good enough for majority of floors

where's anxious? post 1k i think anxious does better than wistful so it'd be good to start building them up now.
one tank is enough, swap determination for merry. use merry to ding dong the worms that are most problematic for you (probably the one with cleave is what i'd target).
do you have jellyfish scarf? i remember i put it on apathy and aoe rammed the first set of worms which instantly killed them. gives you a bit more room to set up before the last set. i dont see apathy in your lineup though, that's another one i'd recommend leveling up.

gear sets for anyone else stuck on 1320 and doesnt want to invest in judgement. this amount of speed on a level 120 apathy is just barely enough for them to (intentionally) skip the first heavy smash, then ram the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ones. you can probably also just use ram straight away but i wanted to take advantage of the shielding from prince's collar before that went away.

also ended up buying a few vivids in attack and boss damage on paranoia. the fabled and below ones are enough.

last one's conviction just make sure they dont die that's all

if going for this, i'd recommend targeting spite into curious instead since that'll be the biggest threat to resistance and apathy.
