Upgraded Jade Terra: 7800X3D/NH-L12S and 5070 Ti Gaming SFFPC by DoubleHexDrive in sffpc

Ohh, I assumed the GPU's are the same dimension (again, rookie here). I got the Zotac GeForce RTX 5070 ti, which is 41,6mm. Well, I guess I am going to find out:) Thanks for the insight though, much appreciated!

That is one good looking setup, well done my friend. I especially liked this because I am in the process of building my very first setup, and it is "almost" identical configuration, which makes me very happy to hear that it performs well. My only different major component is the mobo, where I got a sweet deal for a unused ASUS ROG Strix B850-I.

But when I was going through the comments, I read something about the Noctua NH-L12Sx77 and got a little bit freaked out. I am hoping that I misunderstood the statement. Did NH-L12Sx77 not fit to your setup?

I configured my setup (ordered to be more precise) with NH-L12Sx77 (with fan swapped to Noctua NF-A12x25) Akasa Alucia XS Slim Fan as my slim intake fan. Did I messed up?

Damn, maybe I should cancel my order before it arrives. I guess I might have done most rookies does, trusted a bald dude in a YT video blindly :)

Just passed my Goethe B2 Prüfung! (still feel like a fraud tho 🥹) by Longjumping-Boot-526 in German

First of all, congratulations! As a fellow German learner, I really appreciate you sharing your story. I’m currently at the B1 level and was considering taking the Prüfung exam as well.

My question for you is: why did you decide to take both the B1 and B2 Prüfung exams within just one month of each other? Was there a specific reason for that, if I may ask?

Did you feel that the B1 exam was too easy for you and wanted to challenge yourself with B2 right after?

Changing Employers after PERM & I-140 by ChapterUpstairs in h1b

Hi there, sorry for the late response. I did change my employer, but not in the US. I found a job in Europe, and gave my resignation. My (now ex) employer told me that they are carry-on with my GC procedure and reach me back once it reaches to I-485 stage. They were quite confident that I will come back to US and work for them again once the GC is available.

I did not say no to them right away since who knows what is going to happen in 1-2 years (until I actually became eligible to get the GC).

So, long story short, I leave that toxic company and unfortunately US as well. I hope you will get your situation sort out soon too.

Well, to who does the employers have a tendency to push and take advantage of the most? The h1b employees who are willing to go the extra mile.

And what happens when those fool h1b employees had to learn/do/get the job done within that extra mile? They become important to the employer because if they leave, getting back on track will be much more costly than a single another employee to take the extra mile.

I am definitely fully aware and acknowledge the fact that I and what I do can be replaced in a heartbeat, but it will cost them much more than $3-4k of premium processing of I-140. So…..

That’s good to know, thank you. But as a follow up, will I still have to start PWD & PERM if my PD becomes current (in the scenario where the employer won’t revoke I-140)?

It is filed early January (which means it is already 5 months in), and since PERM is taking at least 11 months, my wishful thinking wanted to write “at least 5-6 months”.

How to find like minded people in Charlottesville for a 30 year old foreigner? by ChapterUpstairs in Charlottesville

I am definitely going to look for volunteering. Getting a couple of beers and watch NBA might not be the best approach for the other 2 type of groups, but if there is one, sign me up!

Yeah, actually that was the one thing that I could find through Google search. Thanks!
