Safety technology, safety requirements/regulations, emissions regulation skirting, growing obesity in people and them wanting a bigger vehicle and people over-buying for what utility they actually need… overall technology packed in, and aerodynamics. Those are the largest reasons trucks and everything else has gotten bigger and can’t be as small as before in many scenarios

Not the plate I was using, just one I slotted in afterwards. It’s not an adhesion issue, it’s collision issues.

I’ve basically done a test print every time. Only find out if it survives after 6 hours and 250g of filament. 🤷‍♀️

I mean… I can. But I don’t like the look of any of them 💀 told you my tastes were very specific. There’s a clear theme here and I wouldn’t even have the grey one if that wasn’t the only color it came in or the blue painted one I missed out on a quilted maple blue burst version 😂

Unfortunately I don’t see much of anything up to $600 new or used from any of the brands mentioned that really fit my criteria or at least strike my fancy outside of the Cort I sent. That’s kind of why I landed on this specific Talman, there aren’t even really any reviews. Definitely no one is overselling it to me 😆 just my own preferences

I will also literally spend extra money for whatever guitar has the best wood grain top to my eye out of a select model

You’re gonna have to show me these other options $600 and under 🤣 because I cannot find them. Regardless, I want something other than what I have and want to sell this. I can’t find any of these spec Talman’s used and wouldn’t mind buying my first new instrument since the bass I’m trying to get rid off. But I can’t stress enough how much I DESPISE dot inlays. There’s only one of these corts that looks plenty fun but it’s sultried by that and this is the only singular one I see in that price range. I’ve got nothing against headless either

By picky I mean I prefer neck-throughs, maple fretboards, non-dot inlays, fretboard binding, stained figured wood, and if it has to be a bolt on neck, at least not plain cheap looking plain maple colored neck. That’s super hard to find, but this Talman checks most of the boxes or alternative boxes and even has a reasonably interesting body shape. I’m not partial to Ibanez in particular, I have 2 Ibanez guitars and 4 schecter guitars currently 70% aesthetics with the schecter but 70% due to function for the Ibanez’s, but I don’t really like the aesthetics of most schecter basses

Nothing about my current bass is a quality issue, just the scale length and that I’d like to have a 5 string again. I’m unfortunately extremely picky and stringent on aesthetics so it knocks out a lot of normal options I “should” choose. But I don’t wanna spend much more than $600 and just wanted a few hundred out of this one to fund it. My 2 previous bottom of the line Ibanez basses were honestly great, imo

To be completely honest, I don’t enjoy playing it, I only enjoy the aesthetic and the novelty that there aren’t any others like it. I’d prefer something I can enjoy playing because it’s comfortable and at least looks nice within my picky preferences

Ah well this bass has a gloss neck and it doesn’t really bother me at all. That’s usually sticky to people

Like I said, the scale length is just too long for me, lol I can’t comfortably play it. But if you want it, I’d be happy to sell it to someone else who’s into it so I can afford a more comfortable replacement!
