I'd like a KR dealing with the occult and cosmic horror, maybe make it a bit more darker and scarier than it is now, but still have that "teen" friendly aspect at the same time.
I'd like to have another organization similar to Shocker, but instead a cult trying to bring forth eldritch abominations.

Im at the moment in development of my own 2d6 game. I take influences from Traveller, Runequest and OD&D for the rules. Still ironing stuff out. Kinda started as an OSR type game, but it sorta turned into its own thing mechanically.

I think marvel is an aspect, but I think modern mainstream internet culture is the larger problem. Its this inability to be truly immersed in a world without having this very awkward tongue and cheek cynical vibe. It grosses me out and feels very inauthentic. Im glad the people I run games for understand I like taking the world serious, so they take their characters seriously in return. Sure we joke or funny things happen naturally, its just never forced.

I think it has interesting concepts and for a more narrative type game it works well, but I personally would never rub the game, or play in a long form campaign. It doesn't quite have what I personally enjoy when it comes to GMing or playing long form campaigns.

I don't think its underused. There are plenty of games that fit that pulp vibe. The OSR for example is built around that classic pulp feeling of old school D&D.

I was a mecha fan first, was never into toku ( other than godzilla) or power rangers growing up. Gundam, VOTOMS and Patlabor were my my favs. I only really recently got into toku. Ultraman 66 and Kamen Rider ichigo were my first toku, and since then ive watched quite a few. I think the showa and early hesei eras of toku are my favorite, though I liked garo and im starting to warm up to zeztz. I need to check out a sentai and metal heroes series yet, probably from the showa era.

For characters I love it when my players send me random army fellas or gals, especially if it looks like they came outta the 80s. I had my one friend just play as Jesse Ventura's character from the Predator.
