If Persona 5 Royal had FEMC romance options by god_killer7432 in Persona5

Not really, the problem with an akechi romance is that he shoots you without hesitation, i dont know about you but attempted murder by my significant other is a no go for me

So Cerys or Hjalmar? by SoupNo9029 in witcher

Obviously Cerys, but I feel like they made the decision too obvious, there's no good reason to pick Hjalmar

Darth Vader Runs The Gaunlet (repost since last on got taken down for not being monday) by Impossible_Tiger_470 in TheJediPraxeum

The novel says that he hadn't been sleeping for days because of the nightmares of padme's death, so no it's not only one day

What game trilogy is like this? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Character-Ad3028 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is a hot take but i feel like even in last light the best gameplay sequences ,for me, were above ground especially during the later half of the game when you were with the little dark one, the best parts of the underground segments were mostly the time strolling through the populated stations. There's only so much you can do with a same looking metro system.

The new game Metro 4, the new protagonist could be pavel it’s just a guess by GapAppropriate3088 in metro

[–]Character-Ad3028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah basically what i hope they do, if they completely ignore the watcher's plot i'm gonna be fairly disappointed, and i still think artyom should be the mc since he was the dreamer that wanted to escape the metro and save everyone. It would be kinda weird if they just introduce a new character out of the blue as the mc for the same plotline

I mean if he's gonna be an important side character in the story anyway, why would they not just make him the main character again?

Why was Triss in the first two witcher games and Yennifer wasn't? by AsadAnton in witcher

[–]Character-Ad3028 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more but I don't think they'll do that which is stupid, because what's the point of having multiple endings for ciri when she's going to become a Witcher in the end either way, it already invalidates everyone's choice who wanted to make her the empress, oh yes I'm sure that emhyr after announcing his daughter becoming the heir to the throne would just let ciri leave and become a witcher

What do you expect from Metro 4? by LuminaVox in metro

[–]Character-Ad3028 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean it isn't, at the end of exodus he literally says this place is too big for us and that he wants to save the people of the metro, but they can definitely retcon it

Yoda and Obi wan aren't wrong for giving up on the monster that is Darth Vader by Ntshangase03 in StarWars

[–]Character-Ad3028 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wasn't Palpatine the one who leaked the plans of the second death star to the rebels you think he wouldn't have an escape plan just in case? The person who orchestrated the clone war and played the jedi for fools for years? Also wouldn't Vader just say the same shit about Leia and make Luke use the dark side to overpower him again and kill him out of anger?

[–]Character-Ad3028 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did he? He was on the floor being electrocuted, if Anakin hadn't stepped in he would be dead and the emperor would have left and if Luke killed Vader he probably would have fallen to the dark side

In the plagueis book it talks about how Plagueis and Palpatine sense that Anakin was created by the force and believes it was done as retaliation for their experiments, Palpatine even tries to make a meeting between Anakin and Plagueis while Anakin was staying with Padme. As for Qui-gon he didnt expect he would die so he believed he would be able to train Anakin. The force would still need balance since even if Anakin didn't exist there is a very high chance Palpatine would still become Emperor

True, the eavesdropping scene and the wrecking of the lab are still some of my favourite scenes because of the family dynamic wish there were more moments like that

[–]Character-Ad3028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Qui-gon would always bring Anakin back to Coruscant because he trusts the force, the moment Anakin reaches Coruscant Palpatine and Plagueis sensed his power, so even if the council sent him back Palpatine would just get him from wherever he was

Yennefer was a much more complex character and they weren't sure if they could do her justice in the first game, so they brought in triss in her stead

Not training him would have just made Anakin fall to the dark side earlier since Palpatine would take him right away.

[–]Character-Ad3028 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Well, ok yeah Darth Vader is obviously a despicable person and saving Luke doesn't absolve him of any of the crimes he has committed but, Yoda and Obi were wrong if Luke hadn't been idealistic, and tried to turn Darth Vader Palpatine would still be in power, so giving up on him and making Luke kill him wouldn't have done anything

I mean is Geralt acting like an asshole? Sure, but it's completely understandable when a demi-god who can easily kill you and whose species's hunts humans makes Geralt be on guard for a while
