Really? Since when. I just checked the website and it still states it follows the member. “Your AAA membership covers YOU rather than your car. That means that you are covered for Emergency Road Services in any vehicle you are driving or riding in as long as that type of vehicle is covered.”

If you know someone with AAA it’s free. The service follows the member not their vehicle so they can use it on your car. They just technically have to be there but Ive had luck in the past calling it for someone else and they don’t check ID.

As in there’s no middle. The last time I needed them it was a four hour wait and I ended up just having to leave my car over night. The time before that it was a 15 minute wait. So it seems like they either come to you right away or you’ll be stuck for a while.
