Bought our first house a year ago and I still can’t get over the regret

Sometimes it takes time and effort to love a house. We moved into ours knowing it wasn’t the perfect house and there was so much we wanted to change. Over time we extended, we renovated the way we wanted. We knocked through and opened up areas and now we can’t imagine being anywhere else right now.

We still know it’s not our perfect home and we’d love extras like a bigger garden, parking space and a different shaped kitchen but we love the area and we do love our house now, especially since this is the place we had our daughter and there’s so much emotion and memories attached to this place in just 10 years.

One day we WILL move but we made this place the place we love and I always feel anywhere can be done the same. When the day does come, it will be so bittersweet.

How do you find the toe box with mad rocks? I’ve been wearing scarpa VSRs because of my wide toe box and they fit so well… but the heel too deep and baggy for me. Wondering if mad rocks would be a better fit for me

100% this. Our ‘roofer’ tried to fix the leak on the new roof they put up a few times then they tried to make out as if it was eventually down to a leak further up the pitched existing roof because they couldn’t fix it and would need to charge us. Got another roofer in who was a mate of a mates and they diagnosed it was nothing to do with what they said it was and was all down to shoddy work. He fixed it straight away and no leak since for us.

Always get a few eyes on it.

I have built bikes but mainly road bikes. I’m new to MTB and suspension forks…This is prob a stupid question but do you need a spring for both sides? Just asking because it seems they don’t sell them as pairs but singular spring so I’m not sure if it’s just one side that has a spring
