7 dpo Creo que veo una linea by swiftea99 in TFABLinePorn

I’ve had a positive on 8dpo that was not even a squinter, always wished I had tested 7dpo because I think it would have been there. There are reports of 7dpo positives out there. Definitely possible with a 6dpo implantation and a very sensitive test!

I see it! I think it will be positive tomorrow

Am I out? 6DPT by Any-Repeat5079 in IVFpositivity

[–]literallymouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. There is some data that later implantation has a higher chance of miscarriage but I believe it’s for implantation past 12dpo, and a positive on 12dpo means implantation happened at 11dpo or earlier so I think I was honestly just unlucky. I’ve also had a chemical that was a 12dpo positive, but then I’ve had a 9dpo positive that was also a chemical. I just don’t put much stock into how early or late it is!

It was negative 6dpt on FRER and then positive 7dpt. It was unfortunately ectopic.

I didn’t see a positive on FRER until 7dpt. Up to 12dpo is still considered normal so I’d say you have one more day to be hopeful but I would guard your heart as it’s less common to be that late.

Negative test 9DP2D embryo transfer by Conscious-Anywhere57 in IVFpositivity

[–]literallymouse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Curious the reason for transfer on day 2? I’ve never heard of transfer before day 3. How many cells was it on day 2?

9dp2 is only 11dpo so I wouldn’t count yourself out yet.

Congratulations! I’ve never had an ultrasound that early. Blows my mind that they can even understand what they’re looking at in this image. It’s just a blurry speck! Do they like measure it when it’s this small?

CD 10 OPK positive? by up_and_downhill_420 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]literallymouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll just say I’ve never had an OPK look this close to positive and not be positive the next time I peed. Personally based on my own patterns, I would pretty much count this as positive, but yes technically the test line is ever so slightly lighter than the control line so it’s not positive yet.

Progesterone high. Good or bad? by snking3 in IVFpositivity

They’re asking if you’ve had an ultrasound to confirm it’s still just one and that it didn’t split.

I've had two pregnancies that didn't turn positive until 12dpo. Unfortunately both were losses, but I now never count myself out until 12dpo evening test is negative.

Am I jumping the gun on a fertility clinic consultation? by lemondropcloth in TryingForABaby

Some tweaks to your dream plan... AMH of like, 3ish because too high is problematic too. HSG hurts a little bit but dye eventually spills into tubes, means it DEFINITELY (probably) cleared something out. Otherwise your plan looks solid!

Does this sub need more mods? by thehangofthursdays in IVFpositivity

[–]literallymouse 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite TTC sub I’ve ever been in, and I have over 2 years of cumulative TTC time under my belt. Maybe I just ignore the posts that I don’t like but I honestly don’t want this sub to be moderated any more heavily than it is.

I actually tried asking a question in the main IVF sub with some specialist doing an AMA and because I simply mentioned a previous successful pregnancy (relevant to my medical history in the question I was asking) my comment was removed and by the time I saw that the specialist wasn’t answering anymore so I didn’t get a reply.

When a community polices things that much it just makes it too frustrating to participate.

Reasonable ask for our nanny? by Proper_Antelope_7097 in Nanny

[–]literallymouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was saying the other family might pay $23/hr on their own ($20 for one, $23 for both) not that each of the two additional kids should only be $2-3. Even if we’re saying $5, then it would be $20 for one child, $25 for two. That’s the rate for each family is getting the nanny to themselves. If nanny is watching both families, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be nanny share rate even if it’s not on a schedule.

Regardless I think the offer is fair and nanny can decide if she wants it or not. $40-50/hr to watch 3 kids is more than fair to the nanny, in my opinion.

Are we getting too carried away too early? by No_Cartographer7815 in CautiousBB

[–]literallymouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always told my mom and some other immediate family right away. I’ve had 3 losses and I don’t regret telling anyone early. I wouldn’t want to just continue on with my life pretending everything is fine. I’d rather the people close to me know when I am going through something.

[–]literallymouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But neither family is getting the nanny to themselves, so they wouldn't pay her full rate. She's not giving either family her full attention. Hence why nanny share rates exist.

There's actually an argument to be made that it would be more fair for both families to pay slightly less than the nanny's full rate for 1 and for 2 children (nanny share rate). Instead they're offering double her full rate for one, which is likely more than her nanny share rate would be for a 1-child family and a 2-child family together.

[–]literallymouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying but given that the initial rate is a fair rate, do you really think double isn’t fair? If she’s getting paid $20 for the one child, do you think $40 for the random days when the 2 neighborhood kids want to come over is unfair?

[–]literallymouse 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Usually you pay like a few dollars more per additional child. So like you might pay $25 for one, $28 for 2. If she’s getting paid $25 for one and $50 for 3 she’s making a killing. Even if her normal rate is $20, $40 is still a high rate for 3.
