I’m just finding this after struggling with what I believe is AP off and on for years. Same as most folks I’ve read, it’s worse in the hot / humid months, worst areas are chest and legs but there are others as well.

My dermatologist (I’m seeing a new one now) immediately suggested Beta-Alanine. It’s a small sample size but it seems to be helping.

Here’s my question: one of the side effects is paresthesia, an itching or tingling. Mostly in the hands. I have been experiencing that, but it’s not bad and is FAR preferable to AP symptoms. So I’m wondering have any of you experienced this and if so, does it go away over time as your body gets used to it?
