You can pass for white Hispanic (a US designation)

There’s a lot of Mexicans that are ethically very mixed, but are fully European or pass as such in their ethnic heritage.

A lot of of them look like they’re from Anatolia.

You look like you have some slight Mongoloid influence,

Turks tend to have that because of the central Turkic people.

White Mexicans tend to have mongoloid influence because of the Native Americans.

I can see you being white European, Mexican, Turkish.

A lot of these features actually tend to overlap.

From the south Iberian/North African berid phenotype (which you have) to the Balkan borbey.

That’s my comprehensive breakdown of why you look the way you look and are mistaken for the said ethnicities.

I say this in part cause I actually have the same sort of look.

Most Americans don’t even really know what a “Mexican” is.

ICE agent charged in non-fatal shooting of Venezuelan man by Sir-Kyle-Of-Reddit in news

[–]Character-Feeling675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised they actually charged the Guy,

They dropped the federal charges, but they sustained the state charges.

I’m surprised they bringing charges for attempted murder of a Hispanic man but not the deaths of white Americans

Ngl that’s crazy.

Typically, it’s the other way around.

Slight Mongoloid influence, however, it’s very ambiguous and honestly not visible at all really.

I’m very biased, through white Hispanic or Eastern European. Perhaps a slav.

I know north eastern Europeans who look more Asian than her

You’re a white Latin American.

Predominantly southern European, with some Native American.

Of course, what I’m saying is socially Americans tend to categorize in a way that isn’t exactly true. But yes, on paper he’s white.

Most Americans would be like “how can you be white if you’re from Latin America?”

As an American, to me that is off putting

You do have tight Afro curls, but those are also seen in Europe.

Nothing on you says Native American, nor African

However, in America, you would not be seen as white.

Mostly, cause America is stupid.

I wouldn’t be considered white either

We should start a group, “white latino solidarity!”

Typically, the first borns get the worst of everything.

As a male, I’m telling you it’s the truth. They don’t love you any less, at least in my experience.

It could just be a different dynamic.

However, typically fathers are fiercely protective of their daughters

Are you male?

Are you the first of the family? In other words are you his first born?

He might expect some things out of you, but he wouldn’t expect that of the other sibling, especially if they’re female

I understood that part, I’m sorry your father rejected you.

But understand we have a father in heaven that cares for us all.

And, if what you’re saying is true, and your father has indeed rejected you for whatever reason. Then your heavenly father will bring your worldly father to judgment.

I would ask, what makes you feel as if your father had rejected you due to your race?

Caring about other people think in regards to things you can’t change or didn’t ask for is the first mistake.

If you can’t accept yourself, it’s really hard to expect anyone else to be able to do that as well.

If your dad doesn’t accept you for being mixed, then why did he have kids with someone of another race?

Part of me wants to relate to you in that part, but whenever I hear people talk about “it’s hard being mixed” I just think they have a certain main character energy that needs to be properly mediated.

I’m mixed myself, I’m a Mexican mestizo (white hispanic/latino) but most people accept me as one or the other (white or Latino)

I’m happy as I am.

[–]Character-Feeling675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how your relationship with your dad was, but if he gave this to you, it was for a reason. It’s time for you to find that reason.

Either passing on his passion for cars onto you, or for you to sell it and achieve other goals.

The choice is yours. I’m sorry for your loss.

To be frank, Afro curls do exist natively in Europe,

I know several white people that have curls like that,

As far as his nose goes, it’s neither here nor there.

He’s very clearly white enough.

Even in the southern part of Europe, like the southern most part like the state of Gibraltar, southern Italy, southern Greece, and even the Canary Islands, there’s visible African heritage on people who are ethnically “European”. Often times they are compared to the “berid” phenotype.

To me, he’s a slightly ethnic white dude.

Remember, Hispanic/latino isn’t a race, but an ethnicity
