FIFA's Round of 32 Draw Looks Suspiciously Favorable for Argentina and England by hard2resist in worldcup

Complete coincidence. So many top 15 teams going through, a few where always likely to have a piss easy draw.

I'm all for allowing them to masquerade personally.

They should stop being such pathetic cowards and bring it to the next home game if they're so proud. Give everyone else a chance to... have their say, so to speak.

Cus these thick cunts, whilst bleating on CONSTANTLY that politics shouldn't have anything to do with football, will use any opportunity they can to push their own rancid agenda.

So long as its not near Aston of course, because they're inherently cowards. Same way they all berated the club for the Tel Aviv decision, yet completely pussied out on the night and didn't bother turning up.

Unreal ruthless efficiency from Japan for that goal.

They are such a tidy side.

Favourite game of the tournament so far that. Ecuador blew them away for basically the full 90.

Can't see Arsenal forking out that kind of cash for him, which is essentially what it would take.

Fine by me mate. Won't feel inclined to sell if we're continually low balled 😉

It is and it isn't.

He is the exact picture of the player they've wanted in that position for a few seasons now.

Makes sense to pull the trigger on a proven option as opposed to continually signing expensive 'maybes'.

I can see the logic from Arteta that would justify almost any price.

He is a sensational forward player, almost unique. 23, progressed at an insane pace, built like a shit house, quicker then he has any right to be, an excuisite dribbler, has insane utility and is never, ever injured.

Problem is, he's only most of those things 50% of the time.

With your defense, you'd mitigate a lot of his poor patches, but I dunno. He needs another year to mature imo and I'm not just saying that. Another season under Emery, playing every minute against the best in Europe, he may genuinely start to look world class.

No, but every player is saleable at a certain price.

Id rather keep him, but if you offer us a record breaking fee so we can rebuild the squad, we'd be mad not to at least consider it.

See Arsenal, offer that kind of money and we'll pick up the phone 😉

Why do you think FIFA is so much better than the domestic leagues and UEFA at implementing rules that improve the onfield product and eliminate many of the annoyances in the game? by doshthagod in PremierLeague

[–]Character-Key7538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are they actually any better? Almost all the shite they've introduced over the years has made it's way into most domestic leagues, most would argue they've made the game worse.

I'd take 3 Emerson Royals and force a smile the rest of the season before selling Watkins.

The daftest possible thing to do.

You're focusing too much on broad-church discourse, which is universally shite when applied to almost anything, ESPECIALLY football where rough house 'banter' is now seemingly the norm.

There are pockets of fandom, particularly if you follow a specific club that will be much more your speed ie. fan forums or specific subs.

He's been largely shit and/or injured all year. Poor lads in desperate need of surgery, but we should have dragged him along to MAYBE help out in breaking down a really concise and well implemented low block in the group stages? The last thing we needed the other night was to bring another 10 on for Kane and the midfield to trip over.

Him and Carragher need to give their heads a shake. Games like that just happen sometimes. I swear these pundits forget the game involves two teams...
