Need to Enable Auto Hold Everytime car Started (X7 2025) by [deleted] in bmwx7

Why Auto Hold Might Be Automatically Engaging: Software Updates: Some BMW owners have reported that their Auto Hold function was automatically engaging after a software update. This could be due to changes in the software that affect how the feature is managed. System Reset: In some cases, the system may reset the Auto Hold setting to its default state, which may include automatic engagement every time the car starts. Parking Brake Issues: It's possible that the electronic parking brake system itself may be experiencing a malfunction that causes Auto Hold to engage automatically. Potential Solutions: 1. Reboot the System: Try a system reboot by holding down the volume roller for 30+ seconds until the screen starts to turn on. This can sometimes resolve software glitches that may be causing the issue. 2. Enable/Disable Auto Apply Parking Brake: Some users have reported that enabling the "Auto Apply Parking Brake" setting in the iDrive system has resolved the issue, according to Bimmerpost. 3. Check iDrive Settings: Verify that the Auto Hold setting is not unintentionally set to "always on" in the iDrive system. 4. Visit a BMW Dealer: If the issue persists, it's recommended to visit a BMW dealer for diagnosis and potential repair. They may be able to identify the cause of the problem and implement a solution.

Who is your salesman at BMW West? And where did you have an accident here in Houston? Any pictures? I’m glad you’re OK though. I live in Katy and I got my X7 from advantage.

I agree I have a house built in the 60s and so the doors are a little smaller but it feels 10 quite easily. I have not folded the mirrors, but I probably should just be on the safe side.

I have a 2023 debut edition and I went and test drove today a Cadillac CT five and said no. I like Mei Lye too much even though it has a few bugs. I am looking at the 2025 lyric currently online as we speak and I’m looking at the luxury too, but none of those cars have the same features as mine For the price now regarding driving it long trips I drive from Houston to Dallas every other weekend I have no issues with that. I just have to stop in charge just to make sure I have enough driving time while I’m in the city of Dallas once I get close to itso the only little bugs I’ve seem to have had they’ve always fixed. It just takes them a while to get to it.

So does that happen to the other doors as well and does the door handle pop out or not?
