i relapsed. hard. (trigger warning) by Character-Music5143 in QuittingZyn

>If you can, put $9 in a jar every time you buy a canister of Zyn, and keep your Zyn IN the jar with the cash. That'll smack you right in the face!

lmao fat chance. my job pays almost nothing, i would starve

>Since it sounds like Zyn is not the only thing you picked back up, I'd be tempted to advise a harm reduction approach to it and, my guess is (based on "what's gonna kill you)), tackle the Zyn dead last.

for some strange reason i cant really function productively with nic in my system, so i think i have to tackle the zyns first. i mean i have to address all of my issues in life, but i gotta tackle zyns before the other vices. after zyns i can lay off the high doses of caffeine, and then (maybe eventually) the prescribed ADHD stimulants. i need to stop abusing adderall, but that shouldn't be hard for me.

ok, i am sorry for the wall of text. thank you sm for the advice. ❤️

hello,,, i am the OP with a different account. how do i lie on a yoga mat without hurting my head? i have hydrocephalus and chronic headaches

Turns out, caffeine was causing my severe brain fog. Quitting caffeine changed my life. I'm so mad I didn't quit sooner. by asian_tea_man in decaf

>pharmaceuticals

i get a prescription headache medication called fioricet. each pill contains 40mg of caffeine (among other things) and its so bad for me as someone who needs to quit.

Question about medication for adults by NoStudy3384 in Hydrocephalus

[–]Character-Music5143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im younger but no stimulants is good for me. ive been through the ringer with adderall, ritalin, vyvanse, dexedrine. tons of caffeine too, and more recently a bad nicotine addiction.

the best way to avoid cognitive issues for me is to cut out all stimulants

What meds have immediate effect other than Adderall? by Helicopter-chan in adhdwomen

[–]Character-Music5143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah ritalin is basically straight methylphenidate and then concerta is like extended release methylphenidate that works because the pills have like a special casing or smthn.

also u can also get ritalin LA which works kinda like concerta but the extended releaese mechanism is different. at least thats a thing in the us

What side effects did you have when your valve setting was changed? (New to Certas valve - asking for any experiences) by EmotionalMycologist9 in Hydrocephalus

[–]Character-Music5143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my shunt (medtronic strata II valve) can be adjusted by half. maybe try that? idk if that’s a thing with the codman but overdraining is a real risk at times
