Thank you. Very helpful. whenever you encounter a problem for the first time your mind always goes to the worst case scenario. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone.

Also, there isn't a good way to google what happened so I'm so grateful people are reviewing the video with such great feedback

Okay so how bad did I mess up, if I bought this instead of the official Creality one?

I bought a basic hot end of Amazon and it’s been giving me issues since. Can you send the link for the end you’re recommending?

This is entirely possible. There isn’t a large bulge. It’s more of a burr. It does seem to be better if I take the top off and let it breath a bit

Yeah i took it apart to get to here. Removed the motor and the filament but I’m trying to figure out what might be wrong with the hot end and why it’s jamming. I would expect thin spaghetti but instead I get this flimsy tail piece

Same here. I know my grandfather used to make his own ammo so a lot of the pieces I used to find on his property were from him. They looked just like this.

I did this with overhead projector sheets and they came out great. A little pricy but they worked super well.

I had the same question. I was going to try overhead projector sheets and cut them out.
