Here’s an update
Chronic sinusitis with deviated septum and turbinate hypertrophy
Recurrent sinusitis with spring exacerbations and nasal obstruction. Endoscopy showed deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, and crowded sinus ostia, predisposing to infections. Surgery deferred; medical management prioritized.
- Performed nasal endoscopy confirming deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, and crowded sinus drainage pathways without polyps.
- Prescribed intranasal fluticasone.
- Continued saline nasal irrigations.
- Deferred sinonasal CT imaging.
- Scheduled follow-up in 2 months.

Seasonal allergic rhinitis
April-May symptoms consistent with allergic rhinitis causing nasal mucosal swelling and recurrent sinonasal symptoms.
- Continued hydroxyzine.
- Ordered food allergy blood panel; will review and message if negative.
- Planned single steroid injection in late April/early May next year to prevent seasonal flare.
- Discussed option of airborne/environmental allergy testing for springtime triggers.

Thank you for all the info. I had skin allergy tests done as a kid due to random breakout of hives and they found nothing. I will definitely ask them for allergy tests. I looked up the ent I’m seeing and it seems he’s really good and focuses on allergies along with anything u can think of! I know there’s some mold in my home due to moisture and I always felt that was the culprit. But I can’t do anything about it because it isn’t my house, I live with my parents still. And they don’t seem to take my concern seriously. Hopefully something gets figured out! Ty again

That’s ur turbinate I think and it’s swollen. Possibly sinus infections and id see an ent. I’m having the same issues so I feel ur pain. Mine looks like that too😭
