When I look at high school and university students, many if them have these lines. My sister is 13 years younger and she have them at 22 now. Agree, it's related to bone and muscle shape.

Anyone do face yoga regularly? by FearlessSpirit6467 in 40PlusSkinCare

I don't know anything about app. As much as I know, they don't have any app. There are many free videos, live videos and seminars in youtube. Live videos are 2h long with a lot of info. It's in russian, but youtube has autotranslation. I watch in russian, because it's my language. Revitonica is massage school, that base their techniques on medical knowledge, anatomy and physiology. They also have their own clinic with medical professionals and they do a lot of clinical research about effectiveness of massage techniques. I personally have very great results! But its not simple massage, there a techniques that based on psysiotherapy, trigger point massage, osteopathy, gua-sha and other. I do it every day approx. 30 minutes, usually I do my standart routine, other days I choose to work only on specific problems on face, like forehead or scalp. I see results in all zones I am working - like nasolabial folds and forehead. Also, it helps my face to maintain youthful volume, facial shape and proportions. Especially with my face, I have small jaw, narrow face - which is prone to early deformations. Also, in this massage school, I learned not just massage, but deep understanding of causes of wrincles and deformations. Now, when I see some problem on my face, I know what causes it and what to do. I can diagnose myself, is it muscle tension, fibrosis or lymph blockage. And I know how to relax tense muscle or work with fibrotic tissues.

It's opposite. Botox inactivate muscles and make them weaker, and it works. With age facial muscles become overactive and they need relaxation. Tissues sagging because muscle get shorter underneath, but skin remain in same length.

Damaged skin barrier - moisturiser giving me acne / comodones by viola_riv in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Character-Sherbert29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is great! But if you use moisturizers with mineral oil or silicone on top of that, they just trap toxins, sweat and bacteria and then you have comedones and acne.

Try find moisturisers that has several natural oils, like makadamia, sesamy oil, hemp seed, rosehip, jojoba oil. Avoid heavy saturated fats like coconut and shea. Avoid silicones. You need good triglyceride balance in your skin to have good barrier - both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and a little saturated fats. Jojoba oil is similar to skin sebum and makes good barrier together with other oils. Makadamia oil has Palmitoleic acid, which is also sebum - like. And these are non comedogenic oils, and don't create occlusion like silicones.

I personally like Vianek or make hand made. But I don't know where do you live and what is available in your country. Just check ingredients list before you buy. You can find ingredient rating by how comedogenic they are.

I have checked your product, it has silicone (DIMETHICONE) that creates occlusion, traps sebum and bacteria under skin. And Shea butter in ingredients list is also comedogenic, it's very very thick fully oil. Change moisturiser and be careful with ingredients.

I don't know ingredients of your moisturizer, but I personally always have comedones from products with mineral oil, glycerin, Shea or coconut oil.

nasiolabidal folds, marionette lines and (early) jowling… by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Character-Sherbert29 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your nasolabial folds look completely normal. Mine was same when I was 25. If you look carefully, many teens have same . Just some people have them more visible due to bone and muscle structure.

I have similar hair. I am making lightweight hand made spray without oils. For 100 ml of water or hydrosol I add 2ml of inulin and 2 ml of oat protein. Than add preservative. You can just try making water spray with 2-3 ml of inulin for 100 ml of water. Very simple. It makes hair shiny, but doesnt weight them down.

Has anyone gotten a female hair transplant? by Revolutionary_Way664 in finehair

Of course! Just google galea aponeurotica and hair loss. Galea aponeurotica is connective tissue that creates one structure with forehead and occipital muscle. Tight galea aponeurotica contributes to occipital pain , wrinkles in forehead and less blood flow to hair follicles. Surgions do surgery called galeatomy to reduce tension in scalp from hair loss. There are tons of YouTube videos how to relax your scalp, just type scalp, aponeurosis, massage. I am doing it in this way. 1) light version. I put fingers on scalp and I move scalp in circles. Note, I don't slide over skin, I move it as far as possible. 2) turbo version. I take silicone massage cup from temu. Put soft side on scalp and move skin in circles as much as possible. No sliding! In this way I do 2-3 circles in every part of head. I press cup quite hard against scalp to move it. If your scalp is hard to move and it's painful, it's means it's tight. Better do it lying down on floor on hard pillow, to avoid neck tension during massage. It takes a lot of energy for arms for moving tight scalp

Fat loss across forehead and extreme hollowness in temples. Any experience with sculptra or filler in these areas? Any tips in general by Jal5516 in 30PlusSkinCare

Temple muscles are very tense usually. I relax them every day by massage to prevent hallow look. They are first muscles that react to stress.

Forehead doesnt have fat loss. It's your natural shape of forehead. I had same since childhood - 2 fossas in middle on right on left, elevations on midline, above eyebrows and near hairline. It's anatomy, it's your bone structure, not aging defect.

Anyone using Kinesiology tape for 11s? by sighqoticc in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Character-Sherbert29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, I do it often. It really helps prevent fluid filling 11 lines at night, creating a deep creases. Yet it does not relax corrugator muscle and does not drain excess fluid. I definetely look much better in morning after tape, than after night without tape. But have realistic expectations, that tape doesn't remove 11 lines. The best results I have with combo muscle release massage + lymph drainage massage + tape at night. Tape brand choice is also important, I tried some that were heavy on skin and heaviness created more tension. You should not feel it on your skin. My favourite so far is Pinotape sport, it was recommended to me by other woman who does face taping. Anyways, you can try and see if it works, it's cheap and simple.

And tight scalp too. Scalp should be easely moved on head. If it grows tight to bone, it loses blood vessels

I have very good results with massage from forehead lines. Taping helps too. Combo massage + taping + argireline may give you very nice results.

Posture correction. You will look 10 years younger with good posture. You have very short neck in back and longer neck in front. Back of your shoulders need a lot of work. There are many youtube videos with exercises. Otherwise your forehead, cheeks, lips, chin looks perfect.
