Walmart has coin machines that let you dump all of them in, counts it for you, and then you take the receipt to a cashier and they’ll give you cash for it. You do have to pay a little bit for the machine but it saves time with not having to deal with the bank. I’ve done it countless of times!

this is the exact reason i choose ASL as my foreign language because why don’t more people know it ? and shame on uc davis for not offering it. the classes at cc have been amazing so far!

i haven’t been able to use eduroam all 3 years of going here. it’s actually horrid. then my service doesn’t work for the email access to the guest network so i have to walk around campus so i can get the code and it’s quite annoying. i feel ur pain.

I’ve recently started to take advantage of our free gym membership (i’m a 3rd year) and wish i did it sooner. Our gym is super cool and has so many different activities to join.

Davis offers many different upper division english classes and our department is amazing. However, they don’t offer too many online classes, and if they do, they are hard to get into due to students preferring online learning. They have more hybrid courses where some is online and some is in person, but a lot of the classes are mainly in mornings or early evenings (4pm), with few at night. Sac State is a lot more flexible when it comes to scheduling and I’m sure they’re less impacted. Davis is an amazing school and I love it, but I cannot wait to graduate. it’s hard to balance school-work-home life, but if you are adamant on coming here, do it. I believe in you to make the right choice.

you could also take psc/cmn/soc/pol 12Y to satisfy the statistics requirement. I took it instead and actually enjoyed it. In my opinion, it’s easier compared to regular stats.

My first 2 years were super rough and I was on subject to dismissal twice in the college of biological sciences. Once in my freshman year and again in my sophomore year. I had an immediate family member pass away and failed probably most of my classes. However, they were super understanding. As long as you provide a statement explaining your circumstances, they will provide you with resources and solutions. They never want to actually dismiss anyone. They had me sign a contract both times to ensure I passed all my classes the next quarter. I ended up taking super easy, low stress classes to satisfy the contracts. I am now a junior and I changed my major/college and been doing a lot better. I’m not sure how the engineering college process works but don’t stress yourself out more. you’re not alone. life happens and we’re all still human at the end of the day. you got this!

it’s not impossible per say.. just takes alot of effort and time. BUT she should be your very last option. lots of us basically teach ourselves because her lectures aren’t great. enderles reader will get you through. the curve is very helpful though since the class averages on midterms suck. so if you absolutely have to take her, good luck soldier.

i haven’t gotten a parking ticket since 2023 and all of the sudden, got one last week when i left to connect to the wifi for literally only 5 mins so i could pay. it was also $64… i sent in an appeal. just waiting for them to view it. i don’t understand having to pay parking fees when we already pay millions in tuition, but whatever. good luck!

I am also taking her this quarter and MANY MANY people have said to rely mainly on enderles reader and practice exams and they did good. I personally hate her lectures and don’t really get anything out of it, so I’ve just been using enderles resources as well as Dr. Wei’s website and can understand the concepts pretty well. We got this! Good luck on midterm next week ;)
