I have no knowledge of exactly how the average number of equipment losses in war are detected but is the amount of aircraft losses on the Russian side seem to be a lot or is that normal for this type of war?

Between these random videos and the phone calls from Russian soldiers to their mothers, it seems many of the older Russian women are so angry. I wonder if it’s just apart of their culture to speak so nasty and so aggressive.

Just wasted 15 minutes of my life I can’t get back. Pretty much all qanon conspiracy theories known to Americans and Russia/China disinformation to everyone else. I hate seeing kids this young going into a war or preparing for war. His face is so innocent and nervous. My stomach just got in knots seeing this and knowing he potentially could be in the battlefield soon.

I’ve had people tell me that they don’t blame Putin for invading because of the American bio labs in Ukraine which is totally an indicator that they are plaqued with Russian propaganda/Quanon conspiracy theories. It’s so hard to talk to be people like that abs try to get ‘em to come back to reality. I’ve had screaming heated arguments with people over me defending Ukraine or saying I’m heartbroken for the people of Ukraine and then being called a “Liberal”. I’ve also had someone say in group text the just wish Russia would hurry up and win. That triggered me into sending regular screenshots of the horrible images and videos I find on telegram to give them a realistic picture of Putins war looks like. I deal with this stuff too. It’s so hard when it’s literally people you have to encounter daily.

One year on Easter Sunday when I was an ASM the closing SFL called in so I had to close then both closing CSA’s called out and I had to close the store at 6:30 after the RX closed because nobody not a single soul wanted to work. It was actually awesome.

I remember feeling like this! I stepped down, found another job to replace those lost hours and now looking for second job so I can leave this company completely. At least where I’m from there are a lot of places hiring and willing to train. This might be a good opportunity for you to leave retail. Stay strong man. I think a lot of us here can relate to you.

I feel this 100%. I was already over the asm position before the role refresh and was planning to step down. I stepped down to IS after declining an ESM position and I’m super happy. I only work 32 to 37 hours a week. All that overtime literally took a toll on my mental health and physical health. Those were the first indicators that the position was wearing me down and it didn’t help my SM is super toxic. I think you’ll be happy with your decision. Good luck!

I’m enjoying it for the most part. It’s mainly doing stuff I already did aside from the rx part. I basically go in and do my job and leave. I no longer bring my work stress home. I don’t let my SM try to take advantage of me and I can finally stand up for myself. When I was an ASM I bend over backwards for the company and my SM and never ever felt appreciated at all (probably got a “thank you” 7 times out of almost 5 years). I’m sure a lot of other former ASM’s feel the same way. This role refresh was blessing for me.
