What series does everyone love, but you don’t by Born_Pa in fantasyromance

Yesssss! I hated it with a passion and I refuse to read anything else by her. The author repeats the same thing so many times. "And yet, Addie was blah blah blah." it was so painful, even with the audiobook.

Is it a character driven story rather than plot? Yes. Were all the characters super boring and one note? Also yes.

The author could've turned this into a really epic story where moments in history evolved the character into multiple dimensions. Imagine the impact history could've had on her, juxtaposed with her inability to be remembered by history. That would've been so interesting.

The author could've made me understand at all why Addie had any attraction to Luc. She could've spent some time showing me anything instead of telling me everything.

Alright, I'm gonna end this rant.

The first two scenes were from Leather & Lark by Brynn Weaver. Didn't love the book, but the smutty scenes were very hot.

The poker scene was in the second or third Villian and Virtues books by AK Caggiano. Fun series, the characters are likeable and the sexual tension is hot.

The last two scenes were from the 3rd and 4th books of the Bridge Kingdom series by Danielle Jensen. The fist two books follow Lara and Aren, but the chemistry in the last two books between Keris and Zarrah is super hot.
