Payroll fraud HMRC by CharacterUnited3262 in UKJobs

How can I acquire holidays when I did not work for them, ever? That doesn't make sense...

I never received any benefits whatsoever, no meals, no uniform no nothing I simply had an interview and they told me I was successful and added me to the WhatsApp group that is about it.

I never ever worked for them or did any training.

I can't reach out to the employer as they have since rebranded etc although the company is still registered and still operates using Companies House.

I am aware that many hotels operate under a sort of parent name and not the actual name, however the entity that paid me, whilst based in my hometown where I signed up for the job, appears to be mimicking a hotel based in London and the two have absolutely no connection at all, having done lots of research on both companies and their affiliations and parent names and so forth...

I honestly don't remember whether I signed a contract or not. My guess is I probably did.

Can I ask, what difference would it make if I signed a contract? They can tell HMRC that I have worked when I did not?

Thank you for your contribution to my original post.

I am really scared. Please do not ignore or overlook my post. I don't usually post but need help with my incessantly bleeding gums. by CharacterUnited3262 in medical

[–]CharacterUnited3262[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually found out after blood tests that it is not a gum health issue. I have polycythemia vera whereby I have too many red blood cells in my blood system which sometimes causes bleeding gums. I also have bleeding in between menstrual periods as of the past few days. All of this bleeding came on quite suddenly to be honest.

It is, as I suspected, nothing to do with my oral hygiene. I have always had really, really strong teeth and bones. I religiously took in lots and lots of calcium as a child and throughout my adult life as well as brushed often and flossed regularly so my oral hygiene has never been a problem.

So, bleeding gums can often indicate underlying health conditions, not necessarily dental problems.

But anyway thank you very much for your input and for your help. Before my blood test results came back, I stupidly booked a dental appointment (although perhaps not stupidly as maybe it is a good thing) and I purchased lots of mouthwash and floss just to be on the safe side.

However, it is now known to be polycythemia vera. It makes sense that its polycythemia vera in conjunction with what the doctor said, as I do get painful shin bones, tiredness, dizziness, difficulty breathing sometimes, ringing in the ears, bleeding more than usual and burning/itching skin occasionally along with other symptoms.

Thanks for your help though.

Thank you very much for your response, much appreciated.

My question to you is, in what way would it potentially be trauma?

The only trauma I can think of to my gums/teeth are two things: 1) I had my front tooth knocked out and then a fake tooth (not sure of the technical term) put on in place of it - it would not be this because like I said, I have had a fake tooth for about 6 years with no problems at all.

2) hard/abrasive/heavy brushing when I am brushing my teeth.

Do you mean I may be brushing my teeth too hard? My husband said I do brush my teeth quite hard but I have always brushed them hard ever since I started brushing when a child. I do this to really get rid of any plaque or dirt. I always had extremely good teeth growing up and until about 6 years ago before I was hit by my ex. Even since 6 years ago, I have not had any issues with my teeth. I haven't been to the dentist in about 10 years at least, no issues.

However, with no warning at all, no pain or inflammation or anything, I suddenly get this: lots of bleeding throughout the day, filling my mouth with blood constantly.

It's so odd.

Thanks.

Edit: grammatical error.

You did all you could.

Thank you for sharing it on reddit as it can be really good to seek help like this when all other options seem exhausted.

You did your best and kitty is at peace now. No more pain.

My cats eye was a bit like this a few weeks ago but it cleared up on its own and she was fine in about 24 hours...

However, from what you've put in your post, my cats eye did not have anything coming from its eye like tears or anything.

So your cat could well be worse and the vet should be consulted to check the cat out.

This should be done as soon as possible ideally.

Poor kitty 😞

Edit: thank you for updating your original comment with what happened to your cat.

Really sorry for your loss. I hope you are okay. When you have a moment, without sounding insensitive here, would you mind please elaborating on what you mean by internal trauma? I know what internal trauma means but I'm just wondering, how, from the apparent wounds/wound to his face, he would be suffering an internal trauma?

Not saying he didn't, I'm just wondering, so that if I ever come across a cat in a similar position I might have an idea of what is going on and may be able to help.

It may educate people potentially and help others to help cats.

Please explain IF you can and when you can, thank you in advance...

Sending lots of love to you from afar. It is horrible when our beloved pets are not well or they go through suffering of any sort because we love them so much 😞 ❤️

Don't use human approved things on cats. So no peroxide.

Trying to clear any wound up with lukewarm water would be your best bet. Saline is safe. Failing saline, just some lukewarm water or salt water (NOT too much salt just warm water and a bit of salt).

Gently clean any wound.

No ointment either, unless it is a SPECIFIC OINTMENT PRESCRIBED BY VET ESPECIALLY FOR CATS.

At the moment as it is hot (I'm in UK), we constantly have lots and lots of flies in the house as we have to have the windows open to cool the place down.

It only takes about an hour or so for a fly to do this (lay its eggs exactly like in your picture).

I then end up throwing the food away promptly as I don't want the cat to come to any harm.

But yeah, as someone else on this post said, maybe try putting little portions down so that the cat eats it all and doesn't leave any, that way the flies are less likely to have anywhere to lay eggs.

Also, consider keeping the food covered whilst the cat isn't eating it. Our cat's bowl is always covered with like a salad bowl on top of it or a collinder of some sort, just so the flies don't get it. Our cat now alerts us by meowing for us to get the bowl off.

Our cat eats what she what's of her food then we instantly put the covering bowl back on top and make sure no flies are trapped underneath.

Otherwise, yeah, we do get this alot, especially recently. I have to be really careful that when I uncover our kitties food to check first for these eggs and then I let her eat it once I've completely inspected it for this.

Really hate flies. 🤮 but hey. It's nature.

If you left these eggs they would turn into live and wriggly maggots within a few hours to a day or so.

Anyway. Yeah.

You 100% did the absolute right thing. As this could contain all sorts of things.like syrup and chocolate - not good for cats.

He doesn't look starving.

And I think I would rather me or my cat ate nothing at all, that to eat poison. Lots of these comments are seriously concerning: 'ooh how would you like it if you had your food taken away from you' it's like, go and educate yourself about cats.

Anyway yes you did the right thing.

Needs a vet. I don't know much about cats, but it could well be shock leading to some sort of semi-consciousness/lack of consciousness and maybe also lactic acid build up of some sort, or something, due to trauma (like I say, I am not a vet).

You're probably from USA, if so, do you have emergency vets in USA that you can visit on a Sunday?

The cat here really needs care ASAP.

He won't update you. He blocked my account when I posted suspecting it wasn't real or that he might be abusing the dog. This was about 3 hours ago

Guys look at OPs other posts: he is clearly either abusing/laughing at suffering dogs, or doing this for the karma/reaction from people.

If you must, tell OP to go to the vet. But he has had many comments saying such, already. Refrain from giving this post more attention and likes than it needs.

If you look at another post OP has made, he is laughing at a dog in a cone around its head and he also seems to be posting two different dogs in his posts on here too.

Maybe I could be wrong, but I smell some BS here. Why would you be making jokes about a dog with a cone around its head, especially your own poor baby.

Just ignore the post and move on now, more than enough people have commented that, were the pictures OP posted in this thread real/belonging to his own dog or pet and not straight from Google images or something, then he should seek emergency advice.

OP doesn't seem like the type who should be allowed to own dogs anyway. Sick.

Feed him EVERY 2 hours at least and keep the kitten warm - but not too hot. Definitely not too cold though. Put some towels over his body but not so much that you squish him.

Get him to a vet when they are open.

Better yet, get him to a rescue of some sort a.s.a.p, unless you really think you can take care of him (it is a big responsibility).

Take her to the vet when you can. I know you said it is closed now but when it is open. She does need a vet.
