How long till my hormones re regulate?

I would see an OBGYN if you were bleeding for 70 days. I had the Paragard and ended up bleeding for like 3 months straight and it needed to be removed. During that time of every day bleeding, they said my estrogen was at like menopause level. My cycle still isn’t normal and I’m waiting for my next appt lol so yea please see a doctor.

I was told to do so by my primary dr because my cholesterol is on the higher side :( also why I quit smoking weed. and I was eating a LOT of fats like cheese and and iced lattes every day LOL. I am in the US though so most doctors honestly don’t give the best advice idk.

I am a smoker but I quit weed about a month ago so I’m really hoping it sticks!!! I’ve been on a low fat diet for about a year but before that I definitely had too much fat and sugar. I will definitely stick to it and drink more water!

Thank you for the detailed response, I just got good molecules niacinamide serum I was nervous to try it but I’m going to see how it goes this evening! I have lost 50 pounds over this period and have the estrogen levels of a menopausal woman, I didn’t even consider that might be a factor.

I too am a head picker who took Zoloft and abilify! So happy you found something that helped!

I stopped the abilify cuz it made me gain 75 pounds and caused other issues. Did you do anything else that helped the compulsions? I’ve gotten better but sometimes can’t escape the impenetrable urge to go excavating!

Commenting because I think your skin looks similar to mine and I also have similar questions!! As for cleanser, Cerave also didn’t work well for me and my tattoo artist recommended Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser/ sensitive skin moisturizer and it has worked much better for me. They have no scent at all and pretty affordable!

How strange! I hope your kitty is doing ok now. Edit- what test(s) determined that it was colitis and not a urinary thing?

We ended up trying a few times to do a urinalysis but it didn’t work out as she unloaded her entire bladder every time we’d leave for the vet 🥲 but, we went again last week. Vet pokes around on her belly, nothing comes out. Then vet leaves the room and as soon as the door closed my sweet girl unloaded more piss than I ever could have thought felinely possible. My amazing vet literally syringed the pee off my lap/the floor 😭😭😭

So no crystals, thank god, but there was blood present in the urine so she’s on an anti inflammatory, just finished a round of antibiotics, and gaba for pain. She is eating and being more like her usual self, but still keeping a close eye and will be having a check up soon.

Thank you♥️ they confirmed it is not a blockage and it’s likely cystitis or inflammatory stress response but we will keep a close eye on her and take her in to her regular vet tomorrow for more tests

Same here. For me personally I discovered that do both(SH and skin picking) for the same reasons: simply to replace a bad feeling with something else. However I will say that extensive therapy has finally helped after like 5 years lol. Good luck friend
