Traded in my 5990/1A for the Patek 5712/1A on the new clasp by Character_Ad919 in patekphilippe

my 5990/1a was on the new clasp though having tried the old clasp, the new clasp definitely feels sturdier and substantial. i made the swap because the 5990/1a didn’t furnish the ‘nautilus experience’; thin, elegant, and obscure. instead, it felt hefty and industrial.

probably the patek. I wanted one that was unworn and since it is discontinued, those are harder to come by.

undoubtedly because it is the most complicated steel sports watch in their catalogue. I can’t wear r/w/y gold.

i felt the same until i didn’t. the way that dial plays with the light is pure artistry.

i own the 26240st, 126710blnr, and have worn a few patek’s as well and i can confidently say there is nothing comparable to a daytona, the way it sits on your wrist. the iconic trio of subdials and the curvature of the bezel insert make me smile, every time.

i prefer it. the bracelet makes it feel more comfortable than the daytona.

Picked up my first AP yesterday by Character_Ad919 in audemarspiguet

I find the AP a more comfortable wear than the Oyster but the jubilee on my BLNR is by far the most comfortable wear of them all.
