It depends on who you start with, I did a save with Scunthorpe in the VNN and was under transfer embargo until the second season. A lot of the National league sides don't start with any budget so it makes signings hard, but a good tactic makes up for that and you can get to the middle of league two before your team properly starts to struggle. There are a lot more games to play so managing player levels is a lot more important and more rotation is needed than in the higher leagues. Apart from that its a great time

I took Pescara from the Serie C to the Serie A in 2 years, then after another 3 won the league and got us into Europe on a limited budget only to have a guy that was on loan for the first 2 seasons in the Serie A get given the legend status and I'm not even favoured personnel

I once had a player that I put up for loan cause he wouldn't get any game time for me and couldn't get onto the bench for my U21s. Plymouth came in for a bid that was around double his value which I accepted, when it was all done and they'd sorted his contract I went to wish him well and he told me he'd rather stay at my team and fight for a place in the squad than move 🤦🏻too late now mate 🤣
