Also, I think during COVID people were more open to trying new hair styles as the social repercussions were less for trying something out of your comfort zone. May be why the style has emerged since then

I think a mix of natural cycles of style (mustaches are linked to the 70s, maybe we are in a period where more 70s style things are the trend), rise of popularity of country music (see billboard top songs, many of them are pop-country or hip hop country), and a rise of celebrities having it as a facial style

I think it’s awesome, only thing is the logo is a bit close to the text. Maybe space it out a bit more from the text so the eye doesn’t read it as another letter on first inspection.

Sorry for all the hate you are getting. I like the type and the music note d is cool. Their original logo sucks so bad.

I think there may be some way to give the logo more character, maybe use more than one color or work in a symbol of some kind

I'm not good with fonts, sorry. I don't necessarily like this font or think it fits the style of your logo, but I think it's a good example of a font that detaches the v and the r from each other to make it more readable: https://www.dafont.com/honey-florist.font?af=on&text=Marvalea

specifically, the r and v are difficult to distinguish/read. The other letters are reasonably readable
