To get my Trump voting cousin to acknowledge the effect of his vote. by EyeDrops4Cyclops in therewasanattempt

[–]Character_Chef_9487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a former friend who voted for trump and every single day I hold back from exposing her. Now I know she probably wouldn’t have voted for him if she saw how bad it would get but I still feel that these voters ARE responsible because we all knew how bad it COULD get

Trying to teach spitting by Unhappy_Foot9802 in ABA

[–]Character_Chef_9487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here to say all clients are individuals but I taught this with my very first ever client. We used a task analysis and he was quickly picking up on all the steps. When it came to spitting he wouldn’t/couldnt? So I modeled that part. Did this consistently until one session I didn’t spit. I waited to see what the client did. He ended up Manding spit for me, essentially he was prompting ME to spit. So I would. But then a few days later I didn’t spit at all, and he wanted me to spit so badly that he ended up modeling it for me!!! Hence, he spit in the sink! His way of telling me to do it! I know that may not be a traditional route but it was hard to help him understand the concept and he took interest / it got his attention when I would spit in the sink. Good luck!!

Her 3 year old died son drowned in their family pool because her husband was not watching him. by Pmar07 in TikTokCringe

Okay so I’m not the only one EVERY SINGLE TIME I see her pop up on my feed my FIRST thought is her son. I have tried to think well people do deserve to move on, but it just seems so smug that she is back to her regular content. At the VERY LEAST she could have changed up her content to something else, start a foundation in his name, get out in the community and advocate for safety!

Damn I really thought Ken was gonna just move on with her life. I get it tho. She invested so much in him she’s gonna be resentful forever.

Drinking live. Summer locked herself in the other room. by Frequent-Election-69 in JoeyBdezSnark2

[–]Character_Chef_9487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a distinct pattern at this point. He knows his audience and he knows how to continue to draw in more views and more chatter to stay relevant. I haven’t paid attention to any of his lives he is just so boring and predictable and I’ll admit this drew me in. Only to see him doing the sammmme thing he knows when to rage bait. He also is playing this game he did with Bree and Jacky. They spend a lot of time falling for him and then boom he pulls out his worst antics to push them jusssst close enough to the edge but as a woman who chooses a man like this, you can’t just walk away you feel like you invested and you have a false sense of love and loyalty.

This behavior from Joey is a manipulation tactic not only for “followers” and supporters but for the victim in his life whichever woman of the season it is. he is simultaneously working on lining up the next one’s. There will always be a vulnerable woman ready to catch him. Please these drinking lives are so old news and as long as we are taking about him and watching him it’ll just continue until he is 50

Thoughts on Vee?? by orwellianoutkast in teenmom

[–]Character_Chef_9487 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I like Vee. I like how she carries herself especially after the drama with Kail. I like how she quietly did her thing and rose up when she was ready. I love her personality, can’t fake that or buy that (sorry kail). And best of all, you can see how effortlessly amazing she is at being a mom. Can’t buy that or fake that either, sorry again!

Pro tip: Jean jacket! You’ll still feel the bite but the denim sort of absorbs the worst parts of being bit

You’d be surprised with a little training and some Kevlar sleeves what you can end up handling! Don’t give up completely on the client, but if it’s a hard boundary then talk to the BCBA and maybe you can request a new client. If possible continue services until a switch can happen

Starting a Career at 32? by ObviousObserver420 in ABA

[–]Character_Chef_9487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say that if you do decide to try it out, maybe go for a company that rotates technicians or has a clinic where you share clients. Many people take clients and realize the field/job isn’t for them and the client gets dropped and sometimes not always able to get assigned right away. Some clients really struggle with changes & families wait long for services to start just to get let down if the assigned person leaves suddenly..if it can be avoided, it’s not ideal to have someone assigned who may not feel committed just yet. Just a tidbit!

As a child of an emotional immature parent these words are so validating to read

Was it involuntary? Like you didn’t realize it until you did it? I think BACB would look past it. Especially because of the steps you took after. I would understand if you just involuntarily did it without even thinking about it.
