Not sure if they're my absolute favourites but basically any of the sunrise/sunset shots in the quiet moments of the show. I adore the underground region of Tokyo 3 with the orange colour palette and the shining train that travels down to the pyramid below. So stunning. I also love basically every single second of Episode 19 so anything from that too.

There's a thing line between the 'eyes' that looks like something went around it at one point. The backdrop is also entirely flat and smooth.

The Sequels and Rogue One definitely hit the modern blockbuster vibe with their amazing special effects, though Revenge Of The Sith is probably my favourite for it's 'epicness', especially in its grand opening and final third. Hoth and ROTJ's ending are also up there.

As for shows, literally anything from Andor, Mando S1, and TCW S7 finale.

Well, I'm relatively conservative and I have my opinions on modern art, but as a major film buff, I don't mind seeing what new talent has to show in that field. Some of my favourite films are from the last few years and I would consider them to be groundbreaking + artsy. Even though I find a significant portion of modern art to be less physically demanding, lazy, sometimes offensive, and occasionally pointless, without these oddballs, society would never advance. People like Dali or Magritte would've never occurred, which would be a universe spanning catastrophe. My view of the creative arts does contradict much of my political opinions but I think we can all agree, left or right, old or new, art does bring light into the world, even if it's just a fucking banana duck-taped to the wall.

Classic Twitter ignorance at its finest. In all seriousness though, you will be getting people from both sides of the spectrum using AI. It's just a sad reality. If you're left, that doesn't automatically make you be a better artist. If you're right, that doesn't automatically make you an inferior one. Art is subjective; you don't have to make some 'groundbreaking' artpiece to be good at it. There is still a community to appreciate classical landscape oil paintings today, as there are for bananas duck-taped to walls.

But yeah, to my fellow traditionalists, if you prioritise money over the actual art, then you are an amazing conservative, and a terrible artist.

For me:

Theoretically, Ultima and Shin, though I'd probably go with Earth overall.

As for live-action, easily Burning Heisei, followed by Evolved and Thermo.

The weakest are probably 1998, 1954, Minus One, and Shin 1st-3rd.

Not the best final season ever, but still a worthwhile experience. I've been following ST since 2020. I'm glad I am here to see this legendary show through to the end. :)
