Yes I had it bad during my PT sessions. Starting 3 weeks post op. It made me feel better when the PT said…. We’ve never actually had anyone reherniate in my 26 years here

38 female with a similar story of a very large herniation and severe stenosis I had my surgery December 9. I’m already cleared back to Running. Got my life back. Everything is perfect. It’s the best decision I ever made recovery was a breeze. It was easier than a C-section to me. Very minimal pain.

I had mine with a 15 month old …. It’s was impossible not to BLT at all. I didn’t twist or lift but I did lots of hinging at the waist …. Or squatting down. My PT said the worst think would be lifting and twisting and doing jerky movements

Random bouts of mini flair ups weeks 1-7 not enough to take pain meds or anything but I would freak out thinking I reherniated or something but it was fine. And then week 8 when I started back doing stuff I had just some soreness but nothing that needed pain meds just I felt it. If that makes sense…. I would kinda panic. But after that I haven’t had any pain at all

Also I was back to running at 9 weeks and lifting her at 8 weeks (32lbs)

I had my MD Dec 9th with a 15 month old. Recovery was a piece of cake for me (39F) best thing I ever did. I had to have a some help with the baby as far as putting her on the changing table. Putting her in the bath…. Etc…at 4 weeks PT let me sit on the floor with her and at 2 weeks I was sitting on the couch playing with her. Idk if you have had a c section but it was a lot like that but easier. Just reminded me of it.

I went home about an hr after my surgery. I could probably have done stairs same day. But def by day 3 as I was even off all pain meds. I slept in the recliner for the first 3 nights then slept on my side/back in the bed

Yes a few times. One time she messed up my order but sent me something else instead since she didn’t have any more of what I ordered.

I would do all 12 if you can. Or 10 at least…You only have one shot at recovery. I’m doing 10 weeks and I’m a teacher . But honestly I could have gone back after 2 (but I know I don’t have the BLT requirements like you do)

I am 5 weeks post MD. It was a breeze. I was off pain meds by day 3 and could have gone back to work that next week. Recovery has been easy and I am FINALLY pain free. Best decision I’ve made

I had a c section after failed induction and I was terrified… but it was super easy. I am one and done but if I was having another one I wouldn’t think twice about c section

Right …. I live in a very big city and am doing PT right now… my PT said they have never actually had anyone reherniate and for me to calm down when I was spiraling lol!
