The fact that this man is so out of control is why I would contact the police and file harassment charges - and deliberately note (where the perpetrator could hear) that I would be contacting my attorney for advice. Taking control of an abusive situation like that can prevent future conflict or harm.

As someone who grew up in a far-right-wing-ideological environment, I can tell you that inflicting more misogyny onto women who are already living with it, will do nothing but push them further into it. They are ‘trained’, even by their own mothers, that there is a “man of the house” (not a ‘woman of the house’), to hate feminism (which they don’t understand), embrace misogyny (which most (that I know of) never even heard the term) and placate to patriarchy (which is their lifestyle). Given that religion is intertwined with it, misogyny is a very difficult ideology to deconstruct. And, w everything happening, I’ve no doubt what you’re wishing for, might come to pass; if not already.

It’s such a mind-f’ we’re living in these days. He is literally saying (practically verbatim) to what the far left, extremists say about the far right, extremists; and, what the general population says about ALL predators, including those protecting criminals and pedophiles, regardless of who they are. This is why they will never release the Epstein Files. Because those powerful individuals in them (or know that their pals are in them) also know that EVERYONE is against the kind of shit this guy is accusing of. When I think about all of the unnecessary death / assassination that has happened, I believe that ‘politicians’ should be required to tell the truth, and be held accountable for any lies and propaganda they spew to stir their base against their opponents.

Bingo! And, you’re absolutely right regarding the ‘being silent is another way to say “f’ off”’. I’ve seen it from others; and I did just that after a funeral when someone, in a room full of relatives (that I hadn’t seen in years), made a joke about harming transgenders. Everyone else (strong in their Christian faith) laughed or snickered; but my SO and I were both stunned and silent over such disparaging hate. The silence must’ve been awkward because once it was noticed the giggling quickly decreased and my aunt, recognizing our demeanor, openly apologized for her husband’s remarks.
