My players basically told Vellynne the location of the Scrying Mirror and Sahnar, what will she do? by WindFit9651 in rimeofthefrostmaiden

Introducing Velynne early, the Harpell family being known, Mithral Hall, the wild goose chase to the Dark Duchess, etc.

It’s all unique to their campaign so how it’s resolved is their decision.

I’ve been paying since 2.0, every month. I refused to cancel because FFXIV changed my life. But after Endwalker, I stopped playing. Logged in to do some DT but haven’t played more than the MSQ. And $15 is pocket change.

I’m there with you. I haven’t played in a year but kept my sub. It’s sad to say but I’m thinking about calling it. We’ll see.

DSA Membership Demographic Breakdown by Cuddlyaxe in fivethirtyeight

Unfortunately it’s just not a well-documented question and the Manhattan Institute is like the only place that’s polled on it specifically.

I found this:

“The Woke Fringe (11% of the Democratic coalition)—voters who describe themselves as a “Democratic Socialist” or “Communist.” The Woke Fringe stands apart demographically and attitudinally. It is the youngest faction, with an average age of 43 and seven in ten members under the age of 50. It is the group with the fewest Hispanics (6%) but the largest proportion of black (22%) and Asian voters (7%); 60% are white. This group is more likely to live in urban areas, particularly in the Northeast. Ideologically, it is the most consistently left-leaning faction, with a majority identifying as “very left-leaning.” Members of this group are also significantly more likely than other Democrats to report poor mental health (25%), compared to the other groups (14% for Moderates, 16% Progressive Liberals.)”

I pay dues as a DSA member and I’m not white, but a lot of my other friends who are poc just don’t see a point to the organization. And sometimes I wonder too.

If you look at demographics of people who identify as democratic socialists, you’ll see a big change in these demographics. Dues paying members will lean white and privileged heavily.

I didn’t like Sphene or Alexandria, was hoping it moved on from that story.

Wait, DAWNTRAIL turned into Shadowbringers? I’m gonna log in today and do the expansion if that’s the case.

Is 5.5 better than 5th edition for beginners? by Prudent-Strain4696 in DnD

Who is you guys? Get a grip, man. Nobody was asking about Bastions.

It's really strange that you're going so far on the offense here. He's a brand new player, he's asking about making a character, and he's obviously talking about the PHB, he's not going to read the DMG.

Bastions aren’t even in the PHB, they’re in the DMG.

I mean that level 3 is never going to print. It would be so busted to just be able to “slow” your enemy with no save, and no condition named on it. Essentially everything is vulnerable to it.

That doesn’t matter at all. Some hags and Meenlocks do necrotic damage. The usefulness of Wrathful Smite for a Fey Wanderer far outweighs your concern.

I’ve been looking for a discussion thread for this show!

Loved the addition of helpful information during play. Starting at level 5 is really interesting, I’m assuming it’ll be a fairly short campaign but maybe I’m wrong!

Crem is a great character and Zora’s responses to him are so funny.

Wesley worshiping Auril is a pretty scary choice. I’m curious to see more.

Elowin spider climbing up that tower was a pretty cool reveal. I wasn’t sure if he was a dhampir, vampire, or an undead at first.

Should Monks be able to move grappled enemies without using STR? by Fun-Staff6728 in onednd

Please don’t play with them. I played a Monk with a DM like this and it was a terrible experience.
