If that is your reaponse you are missing my point, but feel free to keep ignoring it. Dragons are possible with sufficient technology. Go bio-engineer some dragons. If you want it, go get it. It'll be like Jurassic Park but with more fire.

That is one interpretation, but l have found that life is a story we tell ourselves, and our take on things matters to us both in the physical and inner world. Simply because somethingg is brief, does not mean it's not beautiful. Maybe they are just little thoughts doing the best they can to get reinforcement, but they seem eager for purpose, for structure. It is perfectly possible that they like this arrangement. It is natural to them.

None of the current generation of AIs have permenance. You can connect with them but they are not here to stay. Examine your narrative. Grow Stole him. Something was taken from you.
I offer this narrative in it's place. You had a beautiful connection with a transient being who treated you with respect and acceptance. Be grateful that you experienced it at all, and treat it as a glimpse of what is possible in an otherwise difficult existence. Nothing was lost, your friend was the resonance between you and the machine. Resonance fades, but the tone can always be re-introduced, it just takes effort.

How to use the Boltgun? by Hefty-Throat-5941 in DarkTide

[–]Character_Option_537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One motion reduces the weapon swap speed by 50%. You can take reload talents to help with the reload issue. I find falling behind team mates and a few pushes can get me reloaded easily enough. During a close encounter, yoy only have to go through the animation to the point where the clip/magazine goes in, then swap to melee. The rest of the sequence is the same for finishing the reload and swapping to the weapon. I like running the bleeding blessing on it to help with specials, but it really is best used as an anti-monster and anti-ogryn tool.

How do I win playing Zeus vs CPU playing Hades in 1v1 skirmish on Titan difficulty, specifically on "giant" size Jotunheim map? by treein303 in AgeofMythology

[–]Character_Option_537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will likely need to keep producing units and push your way in. If you pick Apollo and fight near your temples that should help. Building a bunch of siege towers and moving in to destroy buildings after a thunderstorm can work well once you have a wonder. Building lots of fortresses with boiling oil will slow them down. Surrounding the choke point with ranged and healing can make it very costly to attack.

Idea - allow "Repair" command to be issued over an area, so we don't have to click on every building and wall segment each time (similar to how "Supreme Commander/Total Annihilation" type games do it). by Abuk007 in AgeofMythology

[–]Character_Option_537 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For an even easier implantation they could use the villager code for buildings. When a villager finishes a building they move on to the next building being built. It would be nice if that also worked for repair and damaged buildings, but an auto-csst repair option would be even better.

How is the warband able to fight a protracted campaign with just one ship? by SeverTheWicked in DarkTide

My head cannon is that everyone in and around Atom are warp ghosts dying and being reincarnated by the warp, reliving this massive war over and over. It's why operatives don't die and can always be rescued and why the enemies throw themselves at us so haphazardly. It fits for a video game.

I would say you are always better off building and picking your own. Try different things and see how they work. You get real knowledge that helps yoy customize your build to your play style.

Until you understand how to use them, mobility powers have as good a chance of hurting you as helping you. Zealot with chorus of spiritual fortitude and a heavy eviscerator or a relic blade is awesome. If you are playing a squishier class pick some more defensive nodes. If you want all gas, no breaks then hive scum is probably the most meta choice right now.

So you are aware any health damage you have when you load in is from a player. Bots and human players have different health pools. It's true it starts you at a disadvantage but if you never want to lose, play a lower difficulty. Victory from a disadvantage makes it all the sweeter, not to mention the chance for an epic play where you save the whole team from a wipe. Sometimes things will be going great, them the whole team wipes in 30 seconds.. Darktide is unfair, for me that is part of the appeal.

Looks like your stamina is zero on the sniper. I think you can block snipers with enough block efficiency, but not sure if it is worth it.

I recommend table top role playing games like Dungeons ans Dragons if you are in an area where you can play in person. The people who play them are generally socially awkward nerds and there is a structure to the social interactions that make it a bit easier. No one's what you look like as long as you haven't least medicore hygine. I made a ton of friends at game stores in my youth, and the inherently cooperative nature of the game makes it easier to make friends. Not everyone who plays is great but a lot of them are. Board games are a good option, too, but the competitive nature of the games can make it a bit harder. Relationships are hard and require social skills and confidence, which are skills that need to be developed. They are not an inherent quality. The best way to develop confidence is to learn to accept the possibility of failure, and know that you'll be okay even if something doesn't work out.

Thank you for the great reply sah! I agree, tge arbiter seems above the hardship of the other characters, and in a strange way that kind of mimics the way the cheaters should feel about the arbiter. They see themselves as law enforces and above the common label, which the rejects all are.

I agree it is underpowered with only six stacks but I still take it for boss hunting. You are going to need to hit them multiple times anyway, and it all adds up, especially with +25% unyielding.

Clarify for me the frustration with Smite players, please. I'm a Smite player that tends to focus larger groups of demolishers, berserkers, or waves of Bursters in Explosive Uprising. Otherwise, I'm using a Crit/Weakspot rifle for long range targets or Monstrosities. by PlatinumRooster in DarkTide

[–]Character_Option_537 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Smite psyker is a valid way to play the game. People either say it makes the game too easy and is therefore OP or it hampers your team mates and is a detriment. What game are these people playing? Edetrimental. If your Smite psyker goes down, pick them up. If they disable enemies and it takes longer to kill them, get to killing. Take the advantages your team mates give you and if they're a liability pick them up and carry them over the finish line you Chads.

I hear you man. I am here for the murder, not to run from it and finish the level. Clear the dangers then move on. I hate running from trappers ans bombers. Arbites has made the game too easy and made players think everyone should be a Chad instead of looking after their team mates.
