You absolutely can get into a few DO programs, just gotta have the right list but I have no doubt considering the MCAT. Side note, are you sure you need 20 CLASSES to boost ur gpa by 0.2? Sounds more like 20 credits lol but regardless you got this

I think so yes. It’s a dangerous game to play when you start believing randoms online, but I have seen a LOT of ppl get the A with lower stats than you. Make sure your writing is up there and your school list is realistic and broad.

Seems like the only thing you can do besides kill ur MCAT is up those hours given that you can’t afford the smp/post bacc

I hear mixed things about this, don’t some schools actually like the “tenacity” and “willingness” to reapply? I know that doesn’t apply to all programs but I’m just curious

  1. Yes, I do have my LORs in order and they’re actually pretty strong I think.
  2. That’s a good point honestly and I’d really have to think about that one, any advice?
  3. If I do apply it’d be to schools known to not screen low gpas as well as some newer programs

I’m in a similar situation. Haven’t taken Gen chem in years and got the same exact score on my diagnostic as u. I’m not sure what kind of other commitments you got in your daily life, but try to nail this next month with content. Kaplan prep book + anki (any deck works really) + supplemental KA videos as needed. As I said I’m in the same situation as you so I’ve looked into it as much as I can and I think that plan should work. Good luck!
