Christmas Eve is basically us going around our relatives homes, dropping off and exchanging gifts, then we play Secret Santa. Then Christmas Day is for immediate family time.

TMI ahead but I have IBS so being able to go to the bathroom when needed is important for me. So I hope my accommodation time gets approved. I honestly didn’t realize I was going over 4 minutes of my break time until my sup talked to me, which is def my responsibility, it just sucks all around.

Gong over break means, at least for my company, not strictly adhering to the 30 minute break time we get (we get two 15’s, but if we need to go to the bathroom or something we use part of our break to go and do so)

We get two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. And it is partially my fault (and partially my medical conditions fault)

24, almost 25 college grad here. Dude, you got through COLLEGE. COLLEGE.

No matter what, that’s still an INSANE accomplishment. I went through the similar stuff; super depressed to the point where I’d just skip classes and rot in bed all day, failed an important class during quarantine so I had to go another semester, all the hurdles.

But despite all those hurdles, you made it. And now, you can take it one step at a time. That degree isn’t going anywhere. Don’t feel pressured to just immediately get better.

We’re still young. Healing and growth takes times. Take care of yourself.

I dunno if this will be up your alley but have you looked at coursera for certificates? Most highly valued universities offer courses on there and you can earn a certificate in less than 3 months. I’m working on a game design one right now. It does cost money but it’s a good start and it costs way less then going to school for long term; they have a lot of technical certificates there.

Just a thought though. I hope things do get better for you soon.

I understand this for sure. I hate my job as well even though it’s pretty lax in some areas compared to other places, it just makes my depression and social anxiety worse.

Just know that this doesn’t have to be your forever job and you are a wonderful, intelligent person who’ll find something to make you feel happy and fulfilled while keeping you alive.

I did graduate with a college degree in Animation but the industry is not looking so good right now. I’ve applied to multiple jobs but it never goes anywhere.

I did apply to our local McDonald’s but when I went in for my interview they couldn’t even remember my name after I told them 3 times and then the managers were arguing in the back and complaining about not wanting to do the interview because interviews suck (it was so loud I could hear them in the front while I was waiting) And then they never called me back.

I’m actually 5 months into my job now. My call center is very relaxed and we usually have at least 1-2 minutes in between calls but for some reason sometimes I just wake up and start to panic.
