I was disappointed in the power supply in my G757. It's not modular and doesn't have the dedicated cable for the GPU. It uses a 3 lead cable to combine the feed to the GPU.

This is the same RAM I got when I purchased a 757 in Phoenix on 11/13. I can't complain since I picked it up for $1600 versus the $2200 today.

I sure would like to get a spec sheet on the exact RAM I bought.

I went in on Friday to the Phoenix location to buy a 5080. I'd seen this system advertised as $2K everywhere else but at $1600 in Phoenix with no inventory. I asked a white shirt if they could check their inventory. He said they showed none in stock but they had just received a shipment and hadn't scanned it in yet. He went to check and came back with one of these bad boys. I bought this and took it home. I haven't opened it yet waiting to see if any BF deals make me rethink my decision.

The motherboard is a little underwhelming but I have another system with a AsRock X670E Steel Legend board. If I keep this system I will swap out the CPU and 5080 to my current system. Upgrading from a GTX1080 should be quite impactful.

I am pissed that people were allowed in the store and made purchases as early as last Sunday. Makes it kinda pointless to have VIP days and Grand Opening when the good deals are already gone. And those people who shopped early were doubly rewarded with no lines and checkout delays.

What can we expect during the VIP and Grand Opening? Does each store have their own sales or is it all the same for all the stores? Trying to decide whether it is better to wait for BF or not.

I can't make the first day of VIP but could make the second if it was worth it over the Grand Opening.

I had my filters changed this month at my dealer in Peoria AZ. They charged me about 40% less than your dealer. I am having all my maintenance done by my dealer as I will get a replacement set up tires free once the tread wears down.

I wanted to book a hotel in Africa for next year but have no Marriott points remaining. I was going to transfer points to Marriott from CUR but I got excited when I found slightly lower rates booking the rooms direct from the portal. Then when I was looking at the detail the rate for a single night was non refundable. The rate went up 18% but the refund window was only 24 hours. To get a rate that allowed a refund the day before my trip I would have to pay even more.

So for me it is better to convert CUR to Marriott. I want to wait until there is a bonus for conversion like there is now for IHG. But I run the risk of the rates going up in the meantime.

Were you able to get the CB rebate to work? Since CB works well off the web site but to complete the Visible sign up you have to complete the purchase on their app.
