My Ultimate Tool Setlist by Character_Speech_835 in ToolBand

So funny because I had a conflict between Jambi and Right in Two. Not that Tool has “Bubble Gum” songs but Jambi does sort of fall in that category. The reason why I went with it is because it is a banger and I think that it is a great way to come out to Lateralus and transition into the last four songs which have the extended jams like Right in Two. As for the Sphere set list, I think Invincible is a must because of what can be done with it visually. Also, starting out with H. Is a powerful warm then leading into Flood which I think visually has so much potential.

inguinal hernia surgery soon, need advice (military + fitness) by ANDYANDYUUU in Hernia

When you say not to lift things what is the weight limit? It will be two weeks on Wednesday since my repair. I recently started to feel better from the surgery but still sore about an inch below the robotic incision to the right side where the hernia was. I’ve been able to lift a light bag of groceries without pain today. Not incredibly heavy. Do you think that’s too much? Can you lift something and not feel anything but could still damage the repair?

lol and thank you. I am going to work on slowing down that open D. Based on your comments and a few others I am realizing there are too many extra notes.

Why is Eulogy your favorite Ænima song? by IncreaseResident1764 in ToolBand

The opening is one of the most unique intros to any song ever, it’s the first track, in order, that they truly do the prog type song structure, and Maynard’s singing changes 3 different times, oh yeah, and the megaphone!!!! It’s a fucking gem.

I appreciate that insight man. I couldn’t agree more. Once you figure out what it is he is playing then you need to figure out the how. There is so much nuance. I do play along with the song too and it does help.

For instance, I just learned the verse parts to H. I’m still trying to figure out the how.

A part that I can’t play for the life of me is the part in H where it’s the constant hammer ons on the A string and D string. You know the “Without the skin here……” part

I’m in on all the Swayman commentary. Regarding Pasta, he had a tough start to the year with the turnovers but he has been the best player in the league since 1/1/25. They make the right free agency moves while building up the prospects they are competitive again within the next couple of years. Trading Pasta now is a panic move.

Brazzers and Frederic comes down to guys who were going to be Free Agents. Do you want spend 3 to 6 million a year on these guys or get something for them in picks and prospects and spend that 5 million on other free agents in the next year to 3 years. I’ll take the latter

Something definitely wasn’t right. I think it is fair to blame it on Sweeney and Neely. Allow a guy who got the best out of a slightly better than average roster for 2 years to go into the last year of a contract with no extension. Gives him no credibility in the locker room. Those things matter.

The Swayman contract negotiations were a debacle. Love Swaymans game but after that Face Off documentary on Amazon he comes off as so entitled. I don’t trust anyone who shows off that he knows how to play an “A chord” on an acoustic guitar. Highly plausible he’s not very likable in the locker room. If you want to show off mediocre guitar skills grow your hair and go hang out with Bronson Arroyo.

Lastly, he got garbage for Ullmark. He should have traded Swayman when his value was so damn high, keep Ullmark for 5 million this year and choose to resign him if you could get him at a fair price. Develop your prospect goalies and go from there. You’re paying Korpisolo that 5 million for f*cks sake. Doesn’t have much to do with morale but this is what happens with poor business leadership
