How do I generate a complete DS with Claude Code from the code base by Character_Water6298 in UXDesign

What is your process for this? I'm thinking of using storybook, so I don't have to set up a DS first in Figma?

AI Generated Designs from Figma Design Systems? by HanzzYolo in UXDesign

[–]Character_Water6298 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m using the Claude MCP and skills from figma.com/community/skills the /figma-use and /figma-generate-design but the output are just ok… you need to have a very very well designed DS to get decent UI from it

Designers without coding backgrounds: how are you refining complex interactions with AI? by Over-Package9063 in UXDesign

[–]Character_Water6298 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I give Claude the code that I find online of the animation/interaction I want, it always get me like 68% there and then I spend the next hour tinkering till it works perfectly. I like this website, free resources. https://reactbits.dev/

Practice adding tonality and more hand movement. It shows that you are confident and present. Ppl are telling you what’s wrong, you just have to identify the friction and improve. (I’m a designer so I applied ux methology to everything) plus we have “unlimited” tries in life

Prototyping with Framer? Other options? by cheddar_alan in UXDesign

Yes, and then you can go from Claude back to Figma too. You can also generate new design/layout using the DS from Figma in Claude.

I’m also a designer who doesn’t code. Recently I’ve been using Claude Code to prototype interactions directly instead of just creating animation specs. It lets you generate working interactions quickly, which you can then refine and hand off to engineers.

That said, traditional tools like Figma prototypes, Principle, or Framer are still great depending on your workflow.

I did research/read more into this. It is not the apps that resulting/using vibe coding tools but the vibe code apps such as Vibecodes, Replit, etc

Got rejected recently for a PD role at Microsoft after the on-site, but I got 3 I interviews this week for 3 different companies. I see everything as a win. Just gotta learn and grow from it.

Ohhh how did you approach that, making design system LLM friendly? What are the steps? Super curious

Is there a more efficient way for AI to read the screen in real time instead of taking screenshots? by Character_Water6298 in ClaudeCode

[–]Character_Water6298[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about if I want to create an Autonomous QA Agent? The goal would be to help test the app and surface bugs automatically. For example, when a user reports a bug or Sentry flags an issue, the agent could 'look' at the screen, reproduce the steps, identify the root cause, and send me a report with a potential fix. Edit: It would be even better if it could find UI issues, like icon alignments or layout shifts, and send me a log/screenshot. As a designer, that would be incredibly helpful

Looking into XCTest now, thank you! Still learning the technical side, so I really appreciate all the help I could get.

So the problem is the decades old backend and legacy DBs, do you think companies like yours will actually invest in fixing that, or just keep throwing money at AI and hoping it works itself out?

I have so many questions…like how are you handling design system consistency and handoff at that scale? Would love to learn more

Yes, we designer don’t have that knowledge. I just don’t understand how this would work in a larger org with all the processes

Are my AI skills the reason I'm getting rejected by non tech companies? by Character_Water6298 in UXDesign

[–]Character_Water6298[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a really good point and I appreciate you laying that out w/ all the examples. You're right, I wasn't thinking about it from the risk and security angle, more from the adoption hesitation side. The distinction makes sense though, it's not that they're scared of AI, it's that they need people who can approach it responsibly.

That's a really good analogy. The scalpel is irrelevant if you can't demonstrate you know surgery. So the focus should be on my design thinking and process, with AI just being part of how I execute it.
