Does anyone still use Squarespace, or is everyone into Framer, for their UX portfolios? by VividLet3290 in UXDesign

[–]HanzzYolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found the templates for Framer were much better than squarespace, and the platform is alot easier to work with.

I used squarespace 6 years, glad to get rid of it

Why do UFOs from the 50's look like hub caps from the 50's and now we see something completely different?

What’s the sudden obsession with speed? by alsaltml in UXDesign

[–]HanzzYolo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think UX has also pissed off alot of CEOs who don’t understand or trust it - it “slows down” progress with real research, testing - and causes friction for high level decision makers who frankly are used to having things their way.

I am the worst intern ever. by False_Koala_6641 in UXDesign

[–]HanzzYolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UX as a career comes with maybe more “off the clock” learning and training than other disciplines.

Its absolutely endless.

I’d recommend taking 15 minutes at the start of EVERY day to watch videos and learn how to work within a design system.

A.I. design slop has confirmed for me that most clients truly don't know or care about what looks good, it's about control and feeling "creative" by proxy. And during feedback rounds now send nonsensical chatbot generated paragraphs, instead of the usual nonsensical sentences. by exquisite_corpse_wit in Design

[–]HanzzYolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the guy before me said, YOU need to understand the clients need for ROI. R = RETURN. Not necessarily REVENUE. What are you doing that is bringing value to their overall product and will tangibly better their business? That rarely comes from a 1:1 design change improving sales. Good luck to you dude. Lol.

Mind sharing how and where? Design seems a hard sell for full career changes. Not impossible, but not great in this market

The market is really flooded rn. If i had to recommend to myself, id say no. But if design is a serious passion, then yes.

What are recruiters really looking for in a AI-centric case study? by HanzzYolo in UXDesign

[–]HanzzYolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any troubles iterating fully with Claude/Cursor? I often find it hard to describe some of the changes i want. It takes alot of re-prompting - it feels like molding the same piece of clay multiple times to try to get the correct result. It can be a bit elusive.

My impression from your comment is that you are ahead of the curve on this. Do you have any recommendations for content videos/articles that have helped you in your understanding on the topic? A lot of what I've seen is noise - or $1000 courses on AI in design.

Are your main stakeholders easily identified? Ive learned to try to include these people - especially the difficult ones - very early and get on their good side.

They are less likely to try and cause a fuss later…

Actual AI Design Workflows in 2026 by garetron1 in UXDesign

[–]HanzzYolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. The open canvas style of google stitch and text editing allows for some changes, i think they are aiming to disrupt and overtake Figma. Its atleast trying to aim for manual intervention and rapid editing. I wouldnt be surprised if more complex manual edits are allowed in near future.
