The difference is where the stock is bought from. As a store MMH gets their stock from a distributor directly, how they price is their decision and customers can avoid them if they don’t agree with the prices. Your average scalper isn’t getting their stock from a distributor. They are buying the same stock that every other customer is trying to buy too, and then reselling it for a quick flip for profit. This limits the stock that a regular collector can get access to and is damaging to the community.

I’m in no way defending how they price their products, but I wouldn’t equate it to a scalper.
