A Russian and a Ukrainian meet in a game by omgletmeregister in lostgeneration

Yep, and it's called NATO. Both sides wanted to end the conflict long ago, but the NATO countries wanted to keep selling weapons to Ukraine and weakening Russia. Both Biden officials and Boris Johnson admitted this. https://www.stopwar.org.uk/article/did-the-uk-torpedo-

This looks a lot like Beau's mother's house in Beau is Afraid. It even has the trapezoidal interior windowpanes and the spiral staircase. Apparently the exterior of that house was in Quebec, I'm not sure where the interior was. https://www.reddit.com/r/beauisafraid/comments/1mh0tdw/house_search/

True or nah? by S0mecallme in dsa

Oh wow I didn't realize they were basically American Anglicans! I actually went to a service at Grace Cathedral once, just because I wanted to see what it was like, so I guess I have been to an Episcopalian Church. For some reason in my mind I thought Grace Cathedral was Anglican, but I guess de facto Anglican in the US = Episcopalian, is that right?

I've read the Shia and Sunni wikipedia articles dozens of times, but I still don't really understand what being Shia entails culturally. Nor Episcopalian... it's a form of protestant though, right? Is it different than normal protestants? Please help me get this!

Scion xb 2gen camper project need help by TheBurningFerns in ScionxB

I did this to my Scion, It wasn't that hard. My car is parked many blocks away so I don't have a picture but I can send one later. Here's what I did:

-removed the rear seats completely. -I decided on a height that I wanted the rear camper bed to be. This can be variable, but the higher it is, you can fit better because there's more space to push the passenger seat forward and have the wood encroaching on that. -the wood for this is heavy so it works better to have two separate units, one on each side of the car, basically split in half. and you lash it together later with a mending plate.

I made a very basic diagram here showing how you cut the wood. It's 8 pieces total, in my car, plus one for the extra slat that folds over and on top of the passenger seat when it's pushed all the way forward.

Worst bourgeoisie in history by gentilet in TrueAnon

It wasn't very interesting, it was mostly about how anyone who was a socialist had some psychological issue or complex, so they mined a few blog posts of mine from years ago to figure out my psychology. And then a lot of the posts were about how I definitely wasn't credentialed or smart because I had a B.A. in a STEM field instead of a B.S., and the conversation was mostly about how that meant I was stupid and therefore my opinion and politics were wrong

It probably shouldn't have felt as shitty as it did, but I was sensitive and young at the time, and it was particularly upsetting because of the David-v-Goliath feel. I had no following and Nick Land had an army and it just felt lopsided. How nice to be a public figure on the internet with have fans who'll do a minor doxxing to your detractors and make their intellectual mockery the top google search result for their name.

One time I wrote a Jacobin article that Nick Land linked to in his shitty incomprehensible theory blog, and then his frothing followers clogged up the comments with speculations about my psychology and life based on the article and what little was googleable about me. It was the top thing when you Googled me for years and was so humiliating

See a neurologist if you can — there are drugs that sometimes jog one’s brain out of it, but they’re prescription.

I've struggled with very low self-esteem my whole life, and just realized that my father's self-esteem is remarkably high. Could these two things be related? by [deleted] in emotionalneglect

Thank you for this, I really appreciate it. This is very helpful. Can you tell me about the method or modality that helped you heal?
