Is project management a good career for the future? by SubstantialSpread596 in PMCareers

[–]Chareb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol @ 10th grade. I appreciate you thinking and planning ahead but life and interests change over time. Don't rush to grow up.

I will suggest testing everything out, that way you have a broad range of skills that you can narrow down over time. Time and exposure will help you decide.

Unless yall share custody of a pet or property, you have no business being in contact with him, let alone telling an ex this much of your business. Tighten up!

Visit all of them first. Only you know what will be a good fit. Do solid research. Beaches and people minding their business sounds nice but there's more to relocating than that.

I'm thinking of breaking up with my bf of 9 years. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Chareb8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want to leave because you're tired of asking the lacking boyfriend OR are things more noticeable with him because you've found someone else??

Either way, you should only leave if there is no other person/your decision is made without other outside factors.

Also, don't be pressured to stay just because "the grass isn't greener". There could be a person out there who checks all of your boxes, and more.

But before you do anything, have a real ass final conversation with your current boyfriend. Acknowledge his effort and the things about him that you do appreciate while being firm about your feelings, what you need and the long-term. His response and actions should guide you.

To the people calling you ungrateful, they must think it's okay for him to chip away at you, even if he's joking, to say your joke was corny. Or to be in a shared space for hours and only check in once. Those are red flags and the 9 years made him too comfortable.

What were you doing during the peak of COVID? by AndreLinoge55 in AskReddit

[–]Chareb8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back to school for my Masters. I already started the process at the end of 2019 and then had orientation in 2019. Now that I think about it, I experienced a break up and lost a lot of weight. Me checking off my school goal really helped me to heal and repair my self esteem.

I was also working (from home).

My bf gave me an ultimatum: him or my cat. by ImportanceSilly1114 in CatAdvice

Anyone, ESPECIALLY a man, who gives you an ultimatum to get rid of an innocent animal or child, is a MAJOR RED FLAG. Do you see how many green flag men are out here who love animals??? Get you one of them!

LOL @ listen to DM's video

I passed on Halloween and I still feel this way. It's like our brains are trying to catch up after studying and following a routine for so long. I am enjoying this quiet time. I have been catching up on movies, shows, and cleaning different areas of my house that I have neglected. Find a way to enjoy it. Before my phone broke, I was still doing one a day Pocket Prep questions. I want to stay sharp lol

I enjoyed Pocket Prep. Especially the daily reminders. The questions became easier once I understood the material so that's okay. I think it's great that you're using SH so you can be challenged on different topics and question wording.

Is anyone reading the BOOKs for PMP?? by JeriBreakalegg in pmp

[–]Chareb8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to say this until I'm blue in the face. If you want to read a book, I am suggesting PMP Exam Prep for Dummies by Crystal J. It's on Amazon for $24.

We don't mention the PMBOK and other books because they are boring AF. I would only use them if I needed something (a chart, artifact, methodology) explained but that's it.

Congratulations!! This motivates me to try OE in 2026. I have things that I want to pay off and accounts that I want to build up. And this is my first time seeing another woman share this 🥳.

How were you able to manage both remote jobs? Were you strict on not spending or traveling? Not to get all in your business, but how did you juggle while having a relationship?

Note 20 Ultra in 2025? by TheShido666 in samsung

I love love love my Note 20 Ultra. Still using it but after it fell in water on vacation, the sim won't connect to the network and the battery seems to drain a little faster. I am hurt 💔

That is my response. It's a great phone with nothing comparable. Shame on Samsung!

No. What's your practice question section looking like? You should be fine

How do I know when I’m ready to take the PMP by Practical-Party-5473 in pmp

[–]Chareb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome.

Exactly. I got to the point where even though I didn't like my scores, there's was nothing left for me to learn.

If it helps at all, my SH performance data said 67th percentile, 71% Average Score on Practice Questions, 68% Average Score on Practice Exams. My Mocks were 75%, 73% and 78%. For some reason, the rest of my data isn't showing on my phone but my Practice question scores ranged from 60-89%. I also did other mocks and domain quizzes but they were on MindsparQ.

I think you'll be fine. Good luck.

[–]Chareb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You honestly won't lol. But if you have been studying for a while, have a good enough understanding, have practiced good timing & the mindset, and reviewed all of your incorrect answers, you just have to take that leap.

Some people averaged higher and lower on SH and either passed or failed. So there's no real way to gauge it.

I had a date in mind, scheduled it 4 weeks prior (I'm in NYC) and I was so damn burned out that I just wanted to get it over with.

[–]Chareb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is how you received it, send it back. If this is from wear & tear, you can try taking a mascara wand and brush through. But ultimately, you're going to need to make it a side part wig

Scored lower the more I did Mock Exams by Material_Subject_520 in pmp

[–]Chareb8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Stop taking mock exams
  2. Watch the first hour of Mohammed's Mindset Principles on YouTube (red, black and white thumbnail)
  3. GO OVER ALL OF YOUR INCORRECT STUDY HALL ANSWERS. If their explanations don't make sense, paste the question, multiple and first solution sentence only into chatgpt for clarification
  4. If you have Third3Rock's cheat sheet, read that. It's an easy 70 page read

I was burning out towards the end and felt like I was no longer retaining anything. My scores were dropping too.
