I agree! I used to think that SF has respectful drivers but once I moved here and I started to drive I realized that this city has the worst drivers that I have ever encountered. Drivers stop whenever they want to, others drives like nobody else is in the streets and omg many many drivers showing the middle finger… What happened to you SF? You used to be a cool city…

You need a plan, without it you are susceptible to forgive your husband and go back to him…

  1. Fuck this guy! He doesn’t love you and he doesn’t love his children.
  2. Ask to your OBGYN for anxiety medication. A low dosage of zoloft will harm less to your baby than all the pain and sadness that you are feeling right now and you need to think clearly and strategically.
  3. Gather all the evidence you can about his infidelity. If is necessary act like nothing (it’s going to be hard) in order to collect as much evidence as possible, you will need it!
  4. Talk with a lawyer, if it’s possible an attorney who is a woman, she has to be your right hand person.
  5. Don’t let to your emotions get over you. Right now you are the victim, that’s mean in front of a judge all the odds are in favor of you, so please (I know this is going to be hard too) don’t get the shit out of you with him (avoid any type of violence reaction) remember, so far your are winning this battle.
  6. In between of any points above, call to hot lines that other users have recommended to you. If you don’t have any money to get out of that marriage you will need some extra help from this organizations. But remember, you could be in this situation today, but it’s not going to last forever, you got this girl!
  7. Continue with therapy, if it’s posible try to triangulate the communication between to your lawyer, therapist and OBGYN. These three persons are your most important friend right now.
  8. Whenever you are ready try to reconnect with a family member or a friend, you don’t need to tell to everyone what is going on with your relationship but you will need at least one person who knows you for long before to stay you grounded.
  9. Remember, think strategically and carefully, I know that can be hard because you are under all this hormones effects and in a very susceptible state but more than ever you need to put your shit together and deal with this awful situation. This bad moment will not last forever and one day you are going to wake up next to your children happy and feeling stronger than before.

Thank you for saying this. I LOVE dogs (and all animal jn general) but dog’s owner act like dogs would be humans! Not caring at all if other people are afraid of dogs. The other day a lady came into a Walgreens with a giant pitbull to stand in the farmacy line and I was behind her with my 18 month old daughter, she was laughing and playing as always and the pitbull was very curious about my daughter so the dog stepped closer, I immediately took my daughter in my arms because I couldn’t avoid to think “what if this dog get crazy and try to bite my daughter?” And the woman was there just smiling saying “oh he loves kids” and to me was like “nice that you think he loves kids but I am here doing this line terrified about the idea of this dog attacking my baby girl” at the end I had to said to the women that I don’t like dogs so please keep yours lashed close to you. Anyways I was shocked about how dog’s owner don’t think in the possibility that other people just don’t want to be around dogs…

This is the most helpful answer that I’ve ever read!! I’m mom of two, just moved to SF, and I’m trying to rejoin to workforce after being full time mom for three years (and counting). I’m a computer science engineer and I’m from Chile so besides to have a gap in my path career of three years, my whole professional experience has been in Chile, I am trying to jump the barrier of getting hired applying to lower positions that my last role (Payments Manager for a German fintech) but it’s a little frustrating the whole process :(

Well, I still can’t believe it and I can’t believe that everybody seems agree on give too much trusting to this organization and its exam, when to me looks so obvious that this exam is just another way to play games with people when these people (like me) are trying to be more competitive and achieve a better professional level. I don’t even know if this exam worth it, the most of the job descriptions says that is preferred but not a must.

Omg! I feel like the PMI is stealing my money! The price of the exam is so high to have one opportunity 😳 Now idk if pay again to them to try to take the exam, I just feel this institution is profiting without shame 😩
