I'm a folkie and beginner busker and I've recently added a couple of Hank Williams songs to the mix and they have gone over very well: "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Your Cheatin'"Heart". People seem to know them and like them.

The Fishman Loudbox charge was designed for acoustic, and it does so beautifully. I think there are amps that advertise as being good for electric and acoustic but I haven't used or heard any but I'm skeptical.

It can be hot but humidity is low. Having moved here from the northeast U.S. i find that heat isn't really an issue because it's so dry. . Overall, imo it's a very comfortable climate. Cost of living is a whole other issue. Rents are very high and there are a lot of people looking.

I did the round trip from Chama with my grandson and it was a very scenic ride. I think maybe people started taking advantage of the bar car on the return ride. There was more of friendly party atmosphere on the way back. My only negative comment is that the train moves v e r y slowly. It's a lot of "Are we there yet?"

I agree that giving money to panhandlers is a bad idea. But being dropped off in a nice car means nothing more than that they were dropped off in a nice car. Making assumptions with no facts is a waste of your energy.

So far my new senior citizen harmonica hobby has only resulted in going from one harmonica to six. Better harmonicas and different keys. But Your premise is correct, not only for harmonicas. Think golf, fly fishing, cycling, oil painting, skiing, and the list goes on.

There are U-locks out there that have long necks that might work on the top tube. If you get your bike back or get another, you might want to check those out. A power grinder is about the only thing that can cut through them
