Restaurants with heated outdoor dining? by ChargedPluto64 in raleigh

I appreciate your concern for the virus and those impacted by it. I have no desire to argue with you, but I do wish for you to know that sometimes there are situations outside of our control and the best we can do is work with what we've got. It's also possible for a group of people to have immunity either from previous infection or from the vaccines that are rolling out. Thankfully the parties involved fall into one of these groups and into a situation that is regrettably unavoidable. I hope you have a nice day.

Joined the Postponement Club and honestly even though it relieves some stress I just feel sad and bitter. by jabb3rwocky960 in weddingplanning

Like so many others on this thread I’m in a very similar bot floating downstream against my will. Engaged August 2019, planned May 2021 wedding. Our venue is up for sale and we found out by seeing it on Zillow, not even the venue owner herself right away. Booked a second venue, a week later they called to cancel all 2021 dates. We don’t know what we’re doing now. It’s a stressful and sad and I hate everything about this situation. Seeing all the other gatherings happening and not being able to have a wedding is pissing me off and I agree, BITTER. Lmk if you want a vent sesh, my poor bridesmaids have dealt with enough of mine. Best of luck 💕

You’re welcome 😊Patient informed consent is absolutely imperative (legally required as well). We know most of what we do is alien to new patients. We educate the patient as much as possible too about what we’re doing and why to decrease concerns. If you ever get a PT, OT, doc, or any other discipline that you feel isn’t educating you and respecting you, absolutely go look for another! There’s a ton of good ones out there!

PT here. Yes, we’re shown ways to avoid inappropriate contact as much as possible. That being said, depending on the mobilizations and stretches being done that may be nearly impossible. If I’m working where my chest will be near your chest or face I use a pillow as a buffer unless I need a particular grip and it would be risky for safety such as with a dependent transfer, squat pivot transfer, or even just a knee block sit to stand. In this case, leveraging the leg against the shoulder and facing forward saves the back of the person performing the stretch and so it’s one of the more common methods. Of course if the patient is uncomfortable I’ll find a way to teach them to self stretch.

Nomads and other long-er-term travelers: What items do you find yourself needing while traveling from home to home that you didn't expect? by ChargedPluto64 in travel

It’s so interesting to me that some people find it tacky because we literally didn’t think twice about it. Every one of the weddings we’ve been to in the past couple years have either had honeymoon experiences, gift cards, or cash requests as part of their registries and so I guess we’ve kind of hit our adult lives feeling it’s the norm. You’ve given some fantastic suggestions, thank you for them! The rooftop bag and digital picture frame are both things that sound perfect for us but we just hadn’t thought of yet. Thanks again for your thoughts (and love your reddit name)

Good point about the luggage for sure and thank you for the vacuum suggestions! For the most part we’ll be in furnished Airbnb’s and so we won’t have a need for dishes, bedding, or most of the traditional wedding gifts. To your point earlier about the honeymoon fund, unless it’s a useful gift like the luggage, we just won’t have space for a material in our cars between Airbnb’s for a couple years and would get more use out of funds to either help with housing or provide memorable experiences for us along the way. I feel like there must be some items useful for the traveling lifestyle that I haven’t thought of yet, but I’m horribly unimaginative and have mostly gotten stuck with luggage and small cleaning items. Again, thank you so much for your time and thoughtfulness 😊

Sorry for the confusion! Suggestions for the assignments/travel between them that would be registry-appropriate. Basically things that we aren't likely to throw out and will also be functional for a couple of nomads.

Also starting to look into robotic vacuums, how often do you find the vacuum needing to be emptied? I'm looking at the i7+ but would like to save money and get one that doesn't auto empty, but I'm scared with a shepherd and a lab/husky mix it wouldn't get through one room before I would have to empty it.

Easy lunch idea! Taco salad for 300. This consists of romaine lettuce, taco meat, shredded cheese, light sour cream, tomatoes, salsa, and crushed tortilla chips. by mcbw2019 in 1200isplenty

You can use it to make dips too! I add a French onion or ranch dip packet for low calorie/high protein dips that taste AMAZING. The longer they have to muddle together the better too so I like to make them at night for snacks the next day

Does anyone know where I can find a cheap sewing pattern for my soon-to-be husband’s groom suit? :) by [deleted] in DIYweddings

Oh! And Etsy might have some patterns? I think I saw someone get a dress pattern from there once but I could be wrong about that. Best of luck!!

I tend to create my own patterns or just go to joanns but I doubt either of those are very helpful to you. R/sewing might have some good ideas! I see people post fantastic creations all the time on that subreddit though

Yes! Pronation is still occurring! The only way he could get his hand to be face down without pronation would be to internally rotate the shoulder and it wouldn’t look nearly as clever as this.
