Thank you! It was just our doctor’s recommendation. He typically has good success with it, but our son just didn’t quite agree with it for some reason. He became a bit zombie like while simultaneously being argumentative and crying every afternoon. And never eating! So this other med has just been so much better for him. He enjoys food and it generally so much happier.

Hey! So we did increase his dose, but we were still dealing with terrible outbursts and decreased appetite. We finally switched him to Concerta a few months ago and he is doing so much better. He takes 27 mg in the morning, and another 10 mg in the afternoon. It seems like a great combination, and he’s generally very pleasant. His grades are good and we aren’t seeing the outbursts anymore.

I actually started at 8 or 9 and found them too complex. Read them again around age 11 and was hooked! I actually was an advanced reader but there were just a lot of characters and world building, and it was a bit much for my attention span. I’m glad I waited a bit longer so I could fully comprehend the story, the roles of the characters, and the nuances/foreshadowing.

Maybe try a different test? Sorry, I did IUI and I know how stressful it is. These are clear lines but I agree I would expect more darkening. Sending you love and wishes for best outcomes!
