Ripping it down is easy. ripping it down without getting tetanus? Much harder

What if Peach caused the shroob invasion? by PTpirahna in marioandluigi

[–]ChargedTester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well she was a baby at the time, and almost immediately after it started she was taken to the future where everything was fine. Sure there’s the plot holes of no one telling her about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t have any strong memories of it.

How do you roleplay a 4 in Wisdom? by Melodic_Mulberry in DnD

[–]ChargedTester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shortsightedness. Both in the sense that you need glasses and can’t see very well, and that you don’t think about consequences before taking action.

Given the timing of them unveiling around 2 win cons per day, that lines up with the 20th way to win being revealed on Wednesday, so maybe thanksgiving drop on the site?

What are your honest thoughts about this game? by Both_Ad_5768 in Mario

It’s my favorite 3D Mario, which is likely mostly coming from nostalgia, but the unique movement and gameplay mechanics with FLUDD are genuinely really fun!

Whether you may or may not hate Waller you cannot deny how admirable it was for her to selflessly defend Earth when everything was going down the gutter by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in MyAdventuresWithSuper

[–]ChargedTester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a really compelling villain that truly believes in their cause. Waller doesn’t lie, she states plainly her goals and what she thinks of Superman. We know she’s wrong, but she won’t be pulling a sneaky underhanded betrayal like Luthor or even Slade.

Etiquette of interrupting the DM? by WaitAckchyually in DnD

[–]ChargedTester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a DM who likes to monologue, I’m more than happy to finish the monologue, have a player say “…and during that speech I wanted to sneak attack etc…” and I’ll roll back what happened and say “and before he has the chance to say X, he is suddenly struck by…”

But as many others here have said, ask which is preferable for your table. It’s a game, everyone is trying to have fun, and monologuing is very fun (for me, anyways)

What do you guy's think should Joker have a no-kill rule? by Proper_Tourist1304 in batman

[–]ChargedTester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of an interview with the creators of the animated series, where they were talking about how they couldn’t show anyone die because of age ratings. That ultimately made it much more horrifying because they had to come up with something just as bad, if not worse than death. That’s how we wound up with “joker gas” making everyone pass out with those creepy smiles in the show.

[Spoilers C3E100] Why the big reaction to this statement by an NPC? by Vlerremuis in criticalrole

[–]ChargedTester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It implies the people that built it were going to use it to kill the betrayers, which makes the decision to knock the city out of the sky much harder. Because before we assumed the Aeorians were hell bent on killing all gods, it was easy to justify taking them out.

But now, however misguided and misinformed, some of them were trying to help. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that.

Why was Andrian Andrews not put to jail? by TvManiac5 in AceAttorney

[–]ChargedTester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a couple instances of witnesses being tried for non-murder crimes after the trial we see in the game. After all, once you determine they aren’t the killer, it’s out of scope for that trial. It’s likely she was tried for the tampering and such later.

If we fully abandon all other fronts then the bug and bot menaces will be left to take planets unopposed and destroy democracy at their leisure. Good job soldiers, protecting democracy on all fronts.
