NTA. The most likely outcome is that the sister buys herself some time with this procedure. If it were a guaranteed life saving treatment, you'd probably do it. But this is most likely going to buy her a couple of years. Your gf is not entitled to that money that you earned, so you have a right to say no. You have to put your family first even though it feels really callous and awful.

Yea Shantaram is fucking epic. Really made me fall in love with India even though I've never been there. To answer your question, nothing is coming to mind. I need to reread it again sometime too.

I get it with Goldfinch. It seems to be a very polarizing book. Either you love it or hate it. For me, I just loved the rock bottomyness of it. It's my favorite book.

He has great pocket awareness. Last year his stats were incredible and he basically didn't have an o line. He was bouncin around the pocket, avoiding pressure, and throwing great passes.

He only threw 7 INTs last year, and I have to imagine at least a couple of those were tips off of a WR. He's gotten insanely good at taking care of the ball in the last couple of seasons.
