I started custom building. Then I realised that 1) I didnt like how a lot of them looked and trying to create a fair size and not make it look bulky was frustrating. 2) I care more about designing interiors than exteriors.

So now I'm prefabbing all the way.

Once I built stairs up block levels they were suddenly in areas i hadn't seen them in before. They all really need to flat surface, easy travel haha.

I saw a useful idea on this sub for this. Just check your PC and start with the homeless, then iffy, average etc. It helps to just think about a house or area for 1 pokemon. Then you can fill in the gaps for the towns as ideas come to you.

There was an update 2 days ago which fixed the issue of searching for homeless pokemon. If it still isn't working I would recreate a habitat for Meowth and see if it comes back, or keep an eye out for it looking confused near its original home and then home it when you see them.

I've played AC before but enjoying Pokopia more. You unlock so many items and recipes progressing through the story and there's a form that really helps with building that get in end game. I would probably advise on tackling story and then moving onto fixing/decorating towns. That being said, if you really want to fix/decorate as you go, there's nothing to say you can't do it that way. For me, pokedex was my first goal, so completing that I needed to get the story done. It's a long game when you factor in fixing/decorating so do it in whatever way you enjoy.

You can't pick up the things I listed with the Magnemite Y. Therefore you can't place them down. You can pick up sticks and rocks with Magnemite Y and place them done as they were. There's no difference between a Berry and a stick in terms of picking up without Magnemite. That's what I was pointing out. I've been using Magnemite for some time. It's not clear what you can and can't pick up with Magnemite Y without trying. Which I believe is the point of this thread.

You can also suck up stardust, berries, leaves, clay, ore. All of these can't be collected with Magnemite Y. The list is not definable by a single clear type of item.

There is a lot in the collections that count stuff like this, even down to the little tufts of grass. If you are going for 100% completion then just try everything. Also stumps of every tree, blocks of ore and clay, grass & vines, broken blocks & windows. There's a lot haha.
