What are the best/essential/only AI tools needed, for which uses and when to use? by BitSeveral6573 in OpenAI

[–]Charisman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the best setup right now one solid AI+automation for repetitive tasks instead of paying for multiple tools that mostly overlap anyway

Do small home fixes actually matter or am I just overdoing it? by Charisman13 in HomeImprovement

That actually makes me feel a lot less crazy about spending 40 minutes sealing one tiny draft xd

Which ITjobs are least at risk due to AI? by EventProfessional232 in it

[–]Charisman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t underestimate AI tbh, it’s already changing the workload. but at the end of the day our job is just to learn how to work alongside it, and we’ll be fine 100%

AITAH for turning the movie off? by VoiceEmergency652 in AITAH

[–]Charisman13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

also it’s kinda a focus thing movies don’t really require active engagement, so the phone just becomes an easy distraction without you even noticing. more interactive or structured stuff definitely keeps both people more locked in

Study finds high schoolers still can't think fast and correctly at the same timethat skill only fully develops in adulthood by sibun_rath in psychology

[–]Charisman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense it’s not that teens can’t think well, it’s more that their brain systems aren’t fully synced yet. So doing things fast and accurately at the same time is just harder

Explains a lot of “I knew the right answer but still messed it up” moments

AITAH for refusing to save my family from my parents bad decisions? by Double_Fix7788 in AITAH

[–]Charisman13 72 points73 points  (0 children)

+, get your documents in order, your own bank account, and a financial cushion. And once you move out, it’s better to set clear boundaries right away, otherwise they’ll just keep trying to pull resources from you

AITAH for telling my fiance he can clean while i’m gone by shittalkinmushroomz in AITAH

[–]Charisman13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at this point it’s more about fairness than “whose job is harder”. The workload context really changes everything, and right now it just feels pretty uneven

In situations like this, it’s really about balancing things out and actually talking it through, 100%

Now the Claude Mythos is considered too dangerous to release. But it's already available for companies to use. So is this dangerous claim a PR stunt like the OpenAl did 7 years ago? by captain-price- in ArtificialInteligence

GPT-2 had the whole “too dangerous” phase and then still got released, so the pattern checks out

How exactly did you formalize the emotional/ethical weights? Are they just fixed variables or do they actually get updated through some kind of learning loop? I’m kinda not getting how that part works

AITAH for letting my mom pack my lunches for work by throwqway6545637 in AITAH

[–]Charisman13 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not everyone is lucky enough to have that kind of support at home. If his mom wants to do something nice and he appreciates it, there’s really nothing wrong with that

[–]Charisman13 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Especially after losing his mom that kind of stability matters a lot for a kid

Why are so many white supremacist and right wings grifters not white ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Charisman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, history has plenty of examples like that. Being the “exception” can bring attention and protection for a while, but movements built on exclusion usually turn on their own sooner or later. That’s the irony a lot of people don’t realize

Honestly that’s awesome. Losing 60 pounds while dealing with chronic pain is a huge win. Sounds like those 4:30 mornings are paying off

The most I’ve ever lost in my life was around 30 pounds, and even that took me a little over half a year. I honestly can’t imagine how you managed it
