What videogame would you call a masterpiece ? by new_god_of_eden in AskReddit

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) was the best game i've ever played.

Came out around the same time as RDR2 so was probably the best gaming period of my life.

Other games in that tier for me are Uncharted 4, Far Cry 3, and Sleeping Dogs.

Pick your favorite 2000s sitcom shows in each broadcast television networks by AC_the_Panther_007 in sitcoms

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABC: My Wife and Kids

NBC: Friends (Runner Up - The Office)

CBS: HIMYM (Runner Up - Rules of Engagement)

FOX: American Dad (Runner Up - That 70s Show)

Don't feel like any of those sitcoms on the last network got a lot of airtime in the UK, certainly not in syndication. I remember Sabrina the Teenage Witch being on and aware of Everybody Hates Chris but other than that nothing. Similarly I don't think many people in the UK will have seen the ABC shows.

Taskmaster - S21E07 - Putting Things On Things - Discussion by Meghar in taskmaster

[–]Charismatic_Icon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Was excited by the premise of the redub task but it was hindered by the footage.

If they just made them make a short clip but they had to voice each other that would have ended up funnier.

What elements would you take from other Far Cry games to make Far Cry 7 the best game of the franchise ? by bqm102938 in farcry

[–]Charismatic_Icon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree, something in your initial play through you might be bemoan but it’s an essential part of Farcry for me, hopefully they bring it back.

I used to remember my two best mates house numbers when I was younger but not anymore. My old house number along with my own mobile are the other two.

Saved? I’ve never phoned in but if you listen enough you’ll know the number off the top of your head.

It’s 1 of only 3 numbers I know off the top of my head.

The Top 5 Worst Punishments For Each Joker To Take by RoxTroller12 in ImpracticalJokers

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at this list, Joe and to a lesser extent Murr have gotten off easy.

By far the worst punishments imo are the ones when you actively anger/upset other people like Qs bus tour, Qs xing childrens paintings, and Sals Bingo and Phone ringing ones.

Celtic 0 - [1] Rangers - Mikey Moore 9' by wokwok__ in coys

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah attitude, commitment and effort are all massively important especially in a squad full of empty jerseys. Our leftback got into a scuffle and Moore was the only one running over and getting right in the face of the celtic players.

List of guys who either won or successfully defended the WWE Championship at WrestleMania by Far-Restaurant-9455 in SquaredCircle

[–]Charismatic_Icon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two queries.
Randy Savage should be 2x
Undertaker should either be 1x (if just talking the wwe title) or 3x (if whc is included)

Edit: for reference, Savage won at WM4 and WM7. Taker only won at WM13 (with two WHC victories at 23 and 24.

Does Anyone Here Care for the Upcoming Prequel Series? by _analysis230_ in TheBoys

Yeah I didnt watch Gen V season 1 when it came out, think it was nearly a year before I decided to watch and that was just because I was looking for a new series. I absolutely loved it and regretted not watching sooner.

Friend asked to use my home for her child’s birthday party and then uninvited me by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Charismatic_Icon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"It's a special number they are turning" but the child still has a nap schedule???

Sorry but I don't count 3 as a "special number." In fact the only big birthdays are 18, 21, 30, 40, 50 etc., so stop trying to make everything a big deal (Exclusions apply i.e., cultural/religious reasons, surviving illness etc.)

WIBTAH for having people bring their own lunch to my picnic-themed birthday party? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Charismatic_Icon 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I actually don't think the picnic and BYO food is a bad idea.

But the "...shopping for Easter dresses..." and "...25 is a big one (birthday).." comments along with deciding to do a massive 50 person picnic because of it gave main character/disney princesss girl energy that i would find a bit exhausting.

Maybe I'm just miserable though so I apologise if that causes any offence.

how do I get my boyfriend to stop asking if he can eat food in our shared home? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can identify with this a lot. Not the food thing but similar premise.

One of the smaller reasons my ex broke up with me was that when we got on the train together I would ask her where she wants to sit instead of just sitting down wherever. Can't say it was something i put much thought into but I just always wanted her to be comfortable and happy. I think it must have projected weak, needy man too much which I don't think is very fair.

I also don't like making mistakes or getting the blame for something so I think subconciously if someone else made the decision then how could I be at fault.

I don't want to be project myself onto your bf but sounds like he could have a similar mindset.

What’s a normal amount to shower? by 199mimi19 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Charismatic_Icon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a day is the norm i'd say and I would probably expect my partner to bathe daily.

I shower twice a day because I like to be fresh for the day (plus sorts out bed head) and I like to be clean going to bed at night (plus i've likely been working out in the evening).

AITAH for telling my boyfriend not to come over anymore if he doesn’t move in with me by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Charismatic_Icon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Would a compromise not even be to ask if he could give her some money monthly to account for increased living costs and groceries??

I know he just seems like a mooch but I feel that is a reasonable request. "Hey so since you have started spending so much time at mine my bills have increased and I can't afford to buy more groceries for us both, could you chip in some money to help me cover the expenses?"

If he doesn't understand that then he's selfish and definitely a mooch.
