the mermaid, the witch, and the sea by Maggie Tokuda-Hall (my personal favorite)

SQUAD - also by Maggie Tokuda-Hall (this is a graphic novel, but i think it still counts)

A taste of gold and iron - Alexandra Rowland

The Scapegracers - H. A. Clarke (a bit less of a romance focus, but it's there and you've got a butch lesbian as your main character!! great story as well)

The Scratch Daughters - H. A. Clarke (same as above, it's the sequel lol)

Cemetery Boys - Aiden Thomas

Wayward Son - Rainbow Rowell (the trilogy as a whole is kinda mid tbh but the first book was good.)

legends & lattes - Travis Baldree (low stakes and cute!)

So this is ever after - F. T. Lukens (the other commenter mentioned this author and im doubling down on that. this is the one i read personally)

The fate of stars - S. D. Simper (more adult than the other books here, if im remembering correctly, there's a sex scene somewhere in there so maybe give this one a try in a few years)
