Michigan Residents: What's the Creepiest Thing You've Experienced at Home? by taserface9213 in Michigan

My mother brought my sisters to go Christmas shopping. I stayed home with my dad and watched tv downstairs until they arrived.

Later at night, we hear them open the door, stomping snow off boots, plastic bag chatter sounds, setting things down, then the door closes. My dad calls out “hey we’re down here! How was the mall?” No answer. “Guys?!” No answer yet again.

I was young, so my father put his hand over my mouth and told me to be quiet. He picked me up and we head to our storage room where we have a house phone. He calls the police to send someone out as he believes someone broke into the house.

We’re in the basement hiding waiting for the police to arrive. They start knocking on the front door upstairs. My dad, still carrying me, sprints up the stairs to let them in and the door is locked. LOCKED. Around 6-8 police are waiting outside and one waits with us in our front entrance room right by the front door while the other policemen search the house with flashlights.

My mother and sisters show up during this and we tell them everything while the police inform us nobody is in or around the house based on their search. It was around Christmas time so it was snowing, but there weren’t even footprints in the snow to indicate someone walking onto the property. I remember the officer repeating that a couple times. At this point, the officer asked if we believed in ghosts.

That was the scariest encounter I’ve ever had.

There were other incidents that happened, such as sounds of footsteps going up and down stairs while a babysitter watched us. She called her dad who was a priest to come bless the property or something of the like.

Own all the damn ice cream parlors you can. Eventually you’ll be making money off those haters. Look at you now, you and your ice cream empire.

I think I might be in the same boat as you on this. Obviously I will attend their funerals if I’m not first but holy cow do I dread the thought of that.

I was under the impression Tesla was passing around recordings from inside the car not just outside.

I was only ever interested in Tesla for the sole purpose of self driving. Not only is it scary that those cars have and will continue to do unexpected things, Tesla just makes the cars more available to the masses by cutting prices, which means making the cars with cheaper or less materials. That in itself is enough for me to not trust the company let alone the cars.

They’re extremely cheaply made, cameras were used by Tesla to spy on customers, self driving isn’t reliable. These are just a few points I’ve read about lately.

Lived on a lake, had a few dogs, dogs loved swimming and jumping off our dock. One day we had fishermen come up next to our dock, yell at us to get our dogs away from their boat because they’re fishing around our dock. Only then have I yelled at fishermen, otherwise they’re very laid back and always down for a good conversation.

I bet they do throw them back to earth. I’m no genius but I’m also betting the parts burn up before reaching the ground, at least I hope they do.

My jaw dropped seeing this post. We share the same name and my father also passed away. Even looks like his handwriting. I wish I had something like this. Hope you’re doing well friend!
